Rosé's POV
NEXT DAY
I stretched the moment I was woken up by the heat from the sun through the window when I realized that Freen didn't went to bed with me last night.
Then I realized, THAT BTCH.
I literally screamed on top of my lungs the moment I saw her with that girl all cozy in the living room couch.
"What the heck is wrong with you?." Freen said, obviously annoyed.
"No, what the heck is wrong with YOU?! Tsk. You literally brought home the knife that will cause your own demise ya' freakin' idiot!."
"Come on mom, it's early in the morning." Becky sarcastically said.
"And you!. You're married but you're here fooling around with my stupid friend right here, and then what?. We'll just wait here til' your husband burn down the entire building to kill us all?!."
"Y-you know what uhmm--why don't you just grab some coffee or tea or whatever you like to calm yourself down for a moment?. I swear we'll get through this, okay?." Freen said, trying to calm me down.
So yeah, I decided to go out to allow them clean their mess first tsk. Well, after grabbing my coat and wallet. They're making me sick for real.
We're so in trouble. In big big trouble.

Becky's POV
It's been an hour yet Rosé still hasn't came back. Freen let me borrow some of her clothes after we showered.
We're now eating breakfast together, still waiting for Rosé to come back.
..
Freen's POV
As much as I want this moment with Becky right now, I need to come back to my world, my timeline.
"Turritopsis dohrnii." Becky said out of nowhere.
"What?." I asked confused.
"The 'immortal' jellyfish. Remember?."
"That's impossible. How on earth--"
"They can turn back time by reverting to an earlier stage of their life cycle." She said.
"You're talking Greek again."
"They can age in reverse." She explained further.
"Just because it can reverse its aging process, doesn't mean it's immortal. Besides, ever consider predators that might kill or even eat them?." I said.
"Well, at least I got your attention. I mean you used to just ignore or pretend that I'm invisible everytime I start talking about jellyfish--"
"Beck--"
"Yeah yeah, I know. Anyways, have you ever wonder--"
"What?."
"How it feels like to be immortal." She said.
"Well, I bet it would be great to worry about nothing."
SILENCE
"Let's say you're given a chance to be immortal--" She said.
"I will instantly grab it!." I said happily.
"Really?."
"W-why? Wouldn't you?." I asked confused.
"What if only one of us could have it?." She said.
I thought for a while.
"I would let you have it." I said.
"I agree. Being immortal means you get to see people you love die. Every single one of them. If one of us could have it, I prefer it to be me. Because it would be better to suffer but die in this limited lifetime, than live but suffer forever." She said.
SILENCE
"Thank G, we're not immortal." Is all I can say.
Becky grabbed a lighter and a cigarette.
When all of a sudden my head feels like it's going to crack the moment I saw the fire that Becky lit up and all I could do is scream in agony.
FLASHBACK
Smoke, fire, buildings.
Everybody's running away from the buildings on fire.
I ran instantly in this campus the moment I heard that there was a fire and I honestly didn't expect to bump into someone familiar.
What is he doing in Becky's school in the first place? Why is he running away? He didn't even seem to see me, he just kept on running.
..
IN THE LIBRARY
"I'm sorry about what happened to your friend." My Accounting Professor Mrs. Williams tried to comfort me, for I have spent these past few days drowned in tears.

REAL TIME
The pain halted and the next thing I know I'm in a room. Well, it looks like an office and there's a foreign woman holding my hand. I saw a name on her desk that states she's a Psychiatrist, Dr. Médousa Fílos.
What am I doing here? What the hell is going on?
"How are you feeling now?." She calmly asked as she gently massage the back of my hand, as if she's trying to comfort me.
But then I suddenly remembered,
"Becky--"
She sighed deeply and was about to say something when Mom suddenly came in the room. She looks young again.
"Uhm what's going on?." I asked confused.
And Mom just stood there, holding back her tears.
"We'll get through this Ma'am." The Psychiatrist went to comfort Mom.

Médousa's POV
For weeks I've been listening and writing down everything that my patient Freen says even though some of them doesn't seem to make any sense. Her story changes every single day, but the characters remain especially Becky.
It was a normal sunny day 3 weeks ago, Freen was in class when her classmate told her that buildings in the school where Becky goes for college is burning. There were also photos and videos that were posted.
Out of impulse, Freen came to rescue her beloved friend. But unfortunately, Becky didn't make it. According to the investigation, the fire started due to a laboratory accident where Becky's burnt body was found.
The odd thing about this case was that there were no schedule for laboratory experiments that day, yet Becky was stuck inside. The door was padlocked from the outside and her mouth seemed to be covered with tape, her arms and limbs were bound with rope, as if Becky was intentionally killed.
Now, I'm trying to get some information from Freen even though she's still in a delusional state due to the trauma. Because that day Freen mentioned to one of the officers that she saw someone that wasn't supposed to be there, before she finally lost her mind.
Freen looks at us, confused like usual. If only I could just find at least one clue from every crazy story she had told me, things would've been easier or shall we just wait till truth manifests itself?.
