You and Silent Bot has been best friends for quite a few years, he was the first person that helped and trained you in the game. Encouraging you and cheering you on which boosted your ego. Sometimes you get a little down when you never won but he was there for you.
It was another chaotic round, which was normal. A few of your enemies and teammates being either a tryhard or an average. Well, Rabblerouser getting a little bad, maybe you'll comfort her after this. Keyword, maybe. Your best friend, Silence, that's what you call him since he never talked or be vocal with any conversation or interactions with anyone.
That's what you loved about him. Quiet yet understanding. Recently, he has been avoiding you and you were getting quite worried. Did you do something wrong? Or maybe he wasn't in the mood? There were times he was like this and you gave him some space but his ignorance was longer than before and your worry for him grew.
He also joined the opposite side of your team which disappointed you at times. Maybe he doesn't wanna be your friend anymore? Oblivious adorable [Reader], little did the both of you know, you were both falling for eachother. Silent Bot only ignored you due to how he felt butterfly feelings in his stomach when you were around him.

Another round, another tiring day, but hey, atleast you got money for participating. You heard that spectating also gives you money but it's a really rare chance, although you prefer getting more money in participating than spectating. You exited the arena to the lobby. You and Silent Bot then made eye contact but was quickly broken by the bot himself.
"If you're looking for you boyfriend, he's at the library." Your head turned to the voice with a flushed face. It was Space Soldier. He was leaning on one of the counters in the lobby. There was a really faint smirk on his face if you look up-close. "It's not like that..." You muttered. "Your welcome, buddy." His smirk grew as you leave the lobby, his stare still lingering on the door as it was closed shut.

You followed him to the library, being extra quiet even though you don't really have to be silent the whole time visiting there. Looking around, you saw a few familiar people such as The Designer and Ikuno pilot. Your eyes then laid upon Silent Bot, who was clearly trying to hide himself with a romance book.
Walking up to him, you sat beside him. His expression was a ( •///• ). He's either blushing in embarrassment that he's reading a romance book or he actually does have a high school crush on you. "Silent Bot.." You broke the silence with a mutter. He turned to you and close the book, one of his fingers are on a certain page from the book he was 'reading'. Thankfully you both are at a more secluded place, except there's Space Soldier although you both didn't notice. Wonder how did he even get here.
"Look, you've been ignoring and avoiding me and.. I was wondering, is something bothering you?" You asked worriedly. His screen showed a thumbs up but his body was visibly shaking in nervousness, that of course didn't convince you. "Silence, I know you're hiding something. We're... B-Best friends, remember?" Those words hit you hard even if you were the one talking. His screen turned into a frown but he still had hope for this moment.
He slide the book to you and flipped it open on a certain page. He pointed at a quote with his pointer finger : "From the moment I saw you, I genuinely wanted to protect and love you. You're so special too me, meeting you made my life better." There was a small sticky note with Silent Bot's hand writing on the bottom his handwriting is quite adorable to you, "This could be us :)"
Your face flushed a bright red, feeling the blood runs up to your cheeks. That was cheesy of him. You couldn't speak at the moment and the only thing you could muster was a, "I love you too". The silence was then broken by Space Soldier stiffening his chuckle.
