It was a vigorous day of training for Melony. It's been about 3 weeks since Melony first started training with Bob, and while she had shown improvement with her sword skills, there was now another factor. Her deity mode. After her little "rampage" at the Coke Zero factory, it's definitely been an interesting development for everyone involved. By some weird miracle, Axol hasn't brought it up with her, so either he hasn't seen the news or he just doesn't want to bring it up. Maybe he did know but just couldn't find the right time to bring it up. There were other pressing matters between now and then, like when they all competed in Sony's Squid Game thing.
Either way, Melony had to get her deity powers in check. Luckily, she had two wonderful friends helping her with this dilemma of hers, Bob and Meggy. With Meggy's help, the training went a bit smoother, regular sword fighting wise, but with Melony's deity powers, not so much. Right now, they were just finishing up with one last sword duel between Melony and Bob with Meggy coaching from the sides.
Meggy : Keep it up Melony ! Square your shoulders ! Keep a firm stance ! Kick Bob's raggy ass !
Bob : A bit hurtful, but fair...
And so the two sword fighters clashed swords once more, both being sent back. Melony then began an attempt to transition to her deity mode.
Meggy : Come on, Melony. Channel your power. You can do it.
Bob brought both of his sword hands up, bracing for the possible impact. Although Melony had attempted to bring out her deity mode multiple times and failed all of those times, he still prepared for the off chance that it would work. As Melony kept focusing, her appearance flickered between that of her regular self and that of her deity form. However, after a few seconds, she stopped flickering and passed out on the floor.
Meggy : *sigh* Another failed attempt. Come on, let's bring her back inside so Axol can come get her.
Bob : Alright.
They then carried Melony to the couch inside the castle. As the melon girl was fast asleep, exhausted from her training, her trainers were still trying to figure out how to train her better.
Meggy : I don't know what we're doing wrong. Her sword fighting skills are getting better, but we're still reaching a dead end on her deity form.
Bob : Yeah. What are we even going to call that form ?
Meggy : I don't know. Do you have any ideas ?
Bob : Hmmm... How about "Meloneity" ? Nah, that's stupid... But it's all I can think of, so we're just gonna have to go with that.
Meggy : Alright, we're getting off track. We need to find a better way to train Melony so we can get her Meloneity side in check.
Bob : Ok, what do you propose we do then ?
Meggy : I don't know. I may not be able to help train her because I'm going to college.
Bob : Wait, didn't we already go to college? I'm pretty sure we did, because that's where I got my diploma in garbology.
Meggy : Yeah, but there, I studied law. Here, I'm going to study to become a sports coach. You know, the thing I found out that I wanted to do as a career.
Bob : Oh right. Did you figure out what college you're gonna go to?
Meggy : I did, actually. It took a while, but I found a great place that's close by. Here, look.
