Location: Peach's Castle
3 Days Before Christmas
The holiday season. A truly festive time of year. A time that the Glitchy gang enjoyed very well. Some were having a wonderful time playing in the snow, whether it was making snowmen and angels or having a playful and/or violent snowball fight. Others were at the mall taking advantage of all the wonderful Christmas deals. I mean come on, WAS $350 but is now $349.99 ? That's a steal of a deal if I ever saw one! But here, we focus on an axolotl that wasn't playing in the snow or taking advantage of the deals. Rather, he was trying to brainstorm ideas on what to buy his girlfriend, Melony.
You see, this would be the first Christmas that they spent as a couple and Axol wanted to make sure it was done right. Right now, the melon in question was in another room practicing with Meggy for the Omnia Christmas Show that they were participating in. All the while Axol was stuck thinking on what to buy her. He had a chalkboard full of scratched-out ideas and everything.
Axol, to himself : Hmm, maybe... no, that wouldn't work. *groans* Come on, brain. Think ! You thought of 200 seasons of Two Piece in 5 years. You can figure out what to get Melony for your first Christmas together with her !
As he was occupied with his thoughts, someone who was covered in snow walked in. The person then shook themselves off, revealing themselves to be Bob.
Bob : Jesus Christ, my ovaries are cold as hell right now !
Axol : Bob, what are you doing here ? I thought you were in the middle of a snowball fight.
Bob : It actually turned into a snowball war. We took a strategizing break.
Axol : Oh, you winning ?
Bob : Uhh...
Cut to a flashback of Bob's side of the fight getting absolutely pelted with snow. Not even snowballs. Some of his opponents literally just threw mounds of snow at him.
Bob : ...Sure, let's go with that. What's with the board ?
Axol : Oh, I'm thinking about what to get Melony for Christmas.
Bob : Wow... I definitely don't need all of that for Christmas shopping. All I do is either gift cards, hotel credit, or money.
Axol : Have you been in a relationship before Bob ?
Bob : Yes ! Oh, wait, you mean with actual sentient people... then, no.
Axol : Well, it's me and Melony's first Christmas together as a couple and I want to make it special for her. But I don't know what to do. All I know is that it has to be the best Christmas ever for her. But for some reason, I just can't think of what to do or give her. You wouldn't happen to have any ideas, do you ?
Bob : Actually, I think it might help if I don't get involved. I don't want a repeat of Valentine's Day.
Axol : Oh ok then. You're probably right.
Bob : Anyway, where's Mario ? I think I can talk him into joining my side of the fight.
Axol : He's busy. SMG4 has him doing another one of those "Mario Reacts" videos.
Bob : Oh. Do you know what he's looking at ?
Axol : I think it's... cursed Nintendo commercials.
Bob : Oof. That'll be fun for him.
Axol : Yeah. Remember when you saw that one for Donkey Kong Country 3 ?
Bob : We don't talk about that one! But yeah, if that's what Mario's gonna see, then hopefully he doesn't die like last time.
