Akihiro walked through the halls of UA, heading  toward the 1-A classroom. The school's halls were packed with new students. Thankfully, Akihiro had passed the entrance exam with flying colors and was now an official student. Not that I had any doubts. He smiled to himself.

He'd been waiting years for this. He couldn't help but smile, knowing he was walking down the same halls his mother had years ago. She had been an incredible hero thanks to this school, now he intended to do the very same.

One of the more exciting parts of the day would be meeting his classmates. He had only seen a few people at the recommendation test. His classmates were sure to be hard-working and focused. Though he was begging they wouldn't be entitled pricks with sticks up their asses.

He opened the door to class 1-A after taking a deep breath. Scanning the classroom, he spotted his friend, Katsuki. Good. At least I'll know someone here. Though I wish it was someone calmer...

"Katsu-chi!! You're actually here?" Of course, Akihiro had no doubt that Katsuki would be in Class 1-A with his explosive quirk, but he knew it would piss him off.

"OF COURSE I'M HERE SHITHEAD!!" He screamed, growing angrier. He leaned further into his seat as Akihiro laughed.

"Ai, Katsu-chi! Tone it down! Don't want to go deaf on the first day, hm?" He said, leaning on his friend. Surprisingly, Katsuki made no attempt to push him off and instead propped his feet up on his desk.

"Don't put your feet on the desk!" A voice said from beside the two. Akihiro turned, finding himself face to face with a teenager making weird chopping hand motions.

The fuck is he doing?

He only raised his eyebrows and Katsuki said "Huh?"

The teenager shook his head, "Don't you think it's rude to the upperclassmen and the people who made the desk?" Each word was accompanied by more weird chopping motions.

And why exactly is this overgrown blueberry talking to us?!

"No. What junior high did you go to, you extra? The top two?" Katsuki asked confidently, not bothering to move his feet. Admittedly, Akihiro couldn't help but laugh at the comment.

"I attended Somei Private Academy. My name is Tenya Iida."

Well, that explains it. He's a rich preppy fuck.

"Somei?!" Katsuki laughed. "So you're some damn elite? I'll have fun crushing you."

"Crushing?! How cruel, do you truly aim to be a hero?!" Iida exclaimed.

Akihiro rolled his eyes, getting bored of all the yelling. "Yelling at classmates isn't very 'heroic' either, but here you are." He scowled, already not liking the other boy. "I'm grabbing a seat, see ya later Katsu-chi." Akihiro let, receiving only a grunt from his friend. Iida continued saying something or other, but Akihiro wasn't paying attention anymore.

Noting the lack of seats, he selected one next to a boy with two-tone hair. He smiled, noting the boy's appearance. Well if that's gonna be my view this year, school might not be that bad. He looked away, not wanting the boy to catch him staring. Then he heard a gruff, tired voice.

"Go somewhere else if you want to play at being friends." Aizawa. Of course, he was his homeroom teacher. Why didn't that old man mention that to me?!

"It took eight seconds for you to be quiet. Time is limited. You kids aren't rational enough." The teacher scoffed, slurping the last of his juice box and stepping out of his yellow, caterpillar-like sleeping bag. Shouta always sounds so dead inside. Can't really blame him though. Akihiro shrugged.
