Blake and I are currently eating breakfast in the cafeteria. Mira had already explained what the plan was for the two weeks of the competition.
Day 1. Today, will be a type of evaluation/rating type of thing. Seeing who's the strongest of each year. It will also show who we should fight against.
Day 2. Will be a party or something to get to know people.
Day 3. Will be our first 1 vs. 1 day.
Day 4. Will be a get to know people, make friends day with the guild representatives. They'll introduced themselves later, or at least that's what Mira said.
Day 5. Will be our first 2 vs. 2 day, were you fight with your partner against another pair.
Day 6. Will be a free day to train or have fun. As long as you stay with your partner.
Day 7. Will be our second 1 vs. 1 day.
Day 8. Another fun day.
Day 9. Will be the second 2 vs 2 day.
Day 10. Mira wouldn't tell us what's happening that day. She said it was a surprise.
Day 11. Will be our last 1 vs 1 day.
Day 12. Free day.
Day 13. Will be our last 2 vs. 2 day.
Day 14. The last day will be when we find out who gets into their chosen guilds.
It's going to be a busy two weeks, hopefully I can get some training in. I wonder what Blake wants to do on the free days, we do have to stay together.
I looked around at all of the competitors. Everyone seems to have their groups of friends. The only friends I have are my family and Blake, but what bothers me most is that a lot of the first years have people. Jenna's talking to that one boy with solid script magic. What was his name? Oh yeah, Gabe. They seem to be getting along nicely. Igneel is no where in sight, which is weird.
Just then, I felt a tap on my shoulder. I turned around to see... Igneel. Was he behind me this whole time?
"Hey Luna, how's your first day going?" He asked. He looked upset, I wonder what's wrong.
"It's fine so far, but are you okay? You don't look so good." I replied.
"Huh? Oh yeah, I'm fine. I'm just a little nervous for today. I don't want to let my partner down."
"I know how that feels." I glanced at Blake, who was taking with another second year. I believe his name was Aki Fernandes, Jenna's older brother. He had blue hair with brown eyes, with a red eye tattoo over his right eye. He was about five inches taller than me. Overall, he was attractive. However, in my opinion, he doesn't compare with Blake.
"Luna, are you listening?" Igneel said, bringing me back from my thoughts.
"What?" I asked.
"I asked what are you staring at?"
"Oh!... Um, nothing. It's nothing." I laughed nervously.
He looked at me suspiciously, like he's trying to see all my secrets.
"Okay, if you say so." He shrugged. He then began to walk away. "See ya later."
"See ya." I waved. I went back to eating, but I wasn't hungry anymore. Instead, I decided to find my family before we have to be in the arena. I looked over to where all the adults were having breakfast, looking back and forth for them. Then I spotted my moms golden hair.
As I was walking over in that direction, I overheard something.
"I bet she's weak." It was Jenna.
