Luke's POV
I do not know how to train someone. Let me make that clear. Training someone, especially a seven year old, is extremely hard. I don't mean normal training, I mean training someone to kill monsters.
And not the little monster that your big siblings tell you are in your closet or under your bed. Monsters that breathe fire, monsters that are 7 feet tall, monsters that regenerate and come back to life in a year or so.
And yes, I've run into monsters that I have already killed before. That made the monsters want to kill me more.
On top of training Annabeth, I partially have to train Thalia too. I mean I am the oldest. I'm fourteen, Thalia's only twelve, and Annabeth is seven. So Thalia isn't a professional fighter (then again I'm not either), and Annabeth needs training.
On top of training them, I have been having lots of nightmares. And not normal-mortal nightmares. When a demigod has a nightmare, it's strange.
Most of the time, the nightmares are either something that has happened (as in the past) or something that will happen(as in the future.) Sometimes, demigods dreams or nightmares are something is happening right now. Very rarely do demigods have good nightmares.
Lately, I my dreams have been from the future. At least I think so. I'm honestly not sure. But I am sure that they're nightmares. The bad kind of nightmares.
——————Nightmare—————-
(A/N: This is in Tartarus (if you've read house of hades you probably will recognize it once you read it), although Luke doesn't realize it.)
I'm standing in total darkness, this is how all the nightmares start. Then a sudden light shines upon several, I mean several, pieces of a body. But it doesn't look like a regular body. The remains of the body looked Godly.
A few of the pieces were starting to form to together. As I looked closer, I could tell slowly but surely the body was reforming.
Then the light started to grow, so that I could see the surrounding area. But once I saw the area, I regretted it. It was the worst possible thing you can imagine. It was like a million times worse than the underworld.
Everything was black and dark red. There was no color. Everything looked... dead. It was like a black and white movie. Expect the white had been replaced with red.
I'm honestly trying to describe it in the nicest, fourteen year old words I can. But it looked like Hell.
——————-End of nightmare————-
When I woke I was so confused.
Why did I go there? Where was there? Who's body was that? And I wonder how long they've been down there. I feel bad for them, who would want to live down there?
