Annabeth's POV

"Please!" I pleaded. Just tell me already people! I wanna know all this stuff that Thalia and Luke haven't told me.

It had been a week since they promised me another thing they would explain. It drives me crazy when someone knows something I don't. And it drives me insane when they won't tell me and I have to beg for it!

I was glaring daggers at Luke but he refused to look at me. I could tell Thalia was the one that I should be pleading with. She was the one who was hesitant about explaining everything. "I'll tell you what." Luke said. "You kill a monster on your own, and we'll explain everything as fast as we can." "We'll?" asked Thalia, but I barely heard her. Really? That's all I have to do?

"Uh okay. Deal. It shouldn't be that hard." I said. "Yeah, so umm Annabeth? Why don't you take a little break and cool off, while I have a little 'discussion' with Luke." Thalia said. She grabbed his arm and yanked him to a nearby tree.

I barely heard their conversation, all I knew is that Thalia was fusing at Luke. Probably because if I killed one monster, they had to tell me everything. And she probably was worried I would get hurt. But I didn't know for sure...

I was way to busy thinking about what I had to do. Not that much right? Just kill a monster. By myself. With a dagger. Okay, so a little bit more than I I had originally thought.
