"The audience at home has voted." The Lust Conquers All host spoke, standing before a group of contestants. "Danthony, Jamie. One of you will go home tonight. The other will continue his lustful journey."

As the host spoke, the two contestants stepped forward to stand beside her.

"Better call your nan, mate." Jamie grinned smugly, hands clasped confidently in front of him. "Tell her to put the kettle on."

"Jamie..." The host paused. "The lust stops here."

Gasps sounded from the contestants behind the host, none more confused than Jamie or excited than Danthony.

"What?" Jamie muttered, his confusion melting into annoyed disbelief, Danothny's cheering nearly drowning out his voice. "It's bullshit.

One scene shifted to another and suddenly Jamie was seated on a couch, interviewing for This Morning with Philip and Holly

"That is an absolute shocker. Unlucky, really." Holly said, a tad too brightly for what was expected of a host having the losing contestant on her talk show.

"Yeah, but we are lucky to have with us, here in the studio, loser, Jamie." Philip continued, adding unnecessary emphasis on already unnecessary words.

"Uh, easy, Philip," Jamie, clinging to scraps of his dignity interrupted, his trademark smug look on his face. "I'm not just a loser, I'm the loser."

"Well, Jamie, look, first things first, will you keep your promise to Amy? Are you gonna wait for her?" Holly asked, referencing events that happened on the show.

"Nah, no." Jamie answered far too quickly. "I was just playing a game, do you know what I mean? Find the fittest girl there, have sex with her in the toilet, ask her to marry ya. Strategy."

"Speaking of strategy," Philip tried to change the direction the interview was currently heading in. "You decided to leave your club, Man City, right at the start of their season. So why?"

"Just something I had to do, do you know what I mean?" Jamie shrugged one shoulder, seemingly unbothered. "The second that I found out that George Harrison had died, I realized that I had to stop waiting for life to begin. Start taking chances. Living life to the fullest."

"But," Holly interrupted, face pinched in confusion. "George Harrison died twenty years ago."

"Yeah, but I only just found out."

A moment of silence, the hosts looking at each other, trying to decide if it was a bit.

"So what's next for Jamie Tartt?" Philip asked when it became apparent that he was being serious.

"Don't know. Back to, uh, Man City. If Pep will have me, that is." Jamie seemed nonchalant about it all, and the hosts shared another look.

"It's funny you should mention that 'cause we've got a clip. You might find this quite interesting."

A clip of Vinai Ahuja, Man City Director of Football, appeared.

"Any thoughts on Jamie Tartt and his future with Manchester City?" A reporter asked Vinai.

"Ah, yes, Jamie. You know, my wife and I really thought he and Amy were meant for each other." Vinai grinned, his face falling as he remembered the couple's fate. "But no, he won't be coming back to Man City. We wish him luck."

Back on the blue couch with Philip and Holly, Jamie was struck dumb. Clearly, he hadn't seen that footage before.

"Oh," He said after a moment of awkward silence with his attention pointedly trained on the screen he had just seen his future fall away on.
