"Please tell Jamie that he's being a fucking idiot." Tate huffed, barging into the coach's office, Jamie directly behind her.

"You're a fucking idiot." Nate replied quickly, an edge of heat in his tone.

Tate paused, glancing between Nate, Beard, and Ted, caught off guard by the former's statement.

"I'm not being a fucking idiot." Jamie exclaimed, his arms out and palms facing up. "I'm being a fucking genius."

"Well, alright, hold on," Ted waved a hand in the air. "Innocent until proven guilty, Jamie, tell us what's going on."

"Yeah, I had this dope idea last night during me eyebrowitng threading." Jamie began, repeating the story that Tate had already heard during the drive in that morning. "I'm gonna buy the whole team PS5s. They'll fucking love me."

"See." Tate exclaimed, one hand on her hip while the other gestured to Jamie, who was grinning proudly.

"You know," Ted began, his kind smile leveled at Jamie as he tried to find the best way to get him to understand. "Some folks might also consider that buying affection."

"That's what I told him."

"Exactly," Jamie agreed, though Tate knew he didn't understand. "What better thing to spend money on than love?"

"Not how it works." Tate told him flatly, despite having already attempted to explain it to him several times previously.

"Cheers, babe." He grinned, clearly not understanding. Tate scrunched up her face in disbelief as Jamie clicked his tongue and backed out of the office, leaving to get ready for training.

"Hmm, boy. He sure does thread that needle sometimes, don't he?" Ted proposed to the group, still unable to say a negative thing about anyone. Tate snorted, leaning against the shelf that Nate sat atop. "Well, gentlemen and Tate, I think we might have ourselves a 'break glass in case of emergency' situation here. You know what we gotta do?"

"Get Dr. Sharon?" Nate suggested, mentioning the psychologist that Higgins had brought on for the remainder of the season.

"What?" Ted's reaction was quick, clearly averse to the idea. Tate rolled her eyes, remembering when he had come to her office to talk about the doctor when Dani was struggling—how he was incredibly apprehensive to the idea. "No, no, no. I think it's time for these young fellas to meet... that guy."

Beard's eyes widened, and Tate's confused look was matched by Nate's.

"No. No, no." Beard sat up from his reclined position.

"Oh, yes." Ted seemed excited by the idea of bringing in this mystery guy. While the head coach spun around in his chair, Tate crossed her arms over her chest.

"They don't need to meet that guy." Beard seemed almost desperate to convince Ted to change his mind. "They don't. Nobody does."

"Don't worry, Coach." Ted stood from his chair, making his way towards the door. "It's gonna be great. All right. I'll see you in a little bit."

"Who's that guy?" Nate questioned, and Tate nodded her head in agreement.

"Led Tasso."

Beard seemed almost afraid.

"Who's Led Tasso?"

"The Anti-Ted Lasso?" Tatum asked, and Beard nodded slowly.

"The last resort." He stood and followed Ted from the office.
