"It's weird, Erd, It's weird..."

Mix cautiously spoke as he walked to the car with his fiance by his side after their first schedule in almost six months.

"What is?" Earth turned to Mix, trying to decipher his mysterious expression,

"Look, I..." He halted just a little before reaching their car as he gazed down, his voice wavering thin while slightly shaking his head,

"I..." Earth patiently waited for him while Mix strengthened himself to gaze back up in his eyes,

"You can say anything to me, Mix, without any hesitation."

And then he did,

"But I'm about to raise a question against your parents,"

Earth's brow creased together as he turned his body to Mix now, "What do you mean to say, Mix?"

He questioned in a slightly different tone from his usual softness towards him as Mix looked away, tightening his jaw,

"I'll say it like this, that, why," He met eyes with Earth's, a different look of fear and determination in them, "Weren't you informed at first priority that P'New has died or that you have to show up at his funeral asap?"

Earth tilted his head with his brows further creasing, "Mix, you know that P'Tay and we aren't close—"

"You and I both know that it doesn't matter when it comes to serious things like these, Earth," Mix snapped at him albeit softly, continuing swiftly,

"Someone died and you are their family be it close or not, you were supposed to be informed and standing at the quick and hush hush funeral, Earth, then why,"

Mix took a pause to let those words sink in Earth's mind,

"Was this hidden from you? Why was P'New buried or cremated so quickly when we could have waited at least three days for P'Tay to wake up and if not then go on with the same thing in the same manner?"

Earth opened his mouth yet found no reply coming out as he felt dumbfounded...

Mix's words... They did hold the ground...

His mother could have informed him... It was nothing big for him to catch another flight or hit the road and make it to Hat Yai...

"I..." Earth trailed off, turning around and walking a little bit further, "I don't know, Mix..."

"Earth," Mix gently called as he turned to him, the glow from the street lamp nearby lighting up Mix's eyes with a certain grimness, "I think there's something fishy or something which is plainly in our sight yet we can't see..."
