Trigger warning: Getting hands-y without permission.
DA note: Even I am shocked about that. Thought it over and over again. All I have to say is, I know what I'm doing.

Having some hot questions in his head for almost five days now, Toy came back from work a little early, on a Thursday evening as he went straight to find his mother,
Finding her on the balcony in the south side of their house as cool air combed his hair back as soon as he stepped outside,
From his peripheral vision he could observe there was nothing but a stretching beautiful scenery of green scapes, one which he had grown up seeing yet had never grown tired from,
"Sawasdee krup, mae." His voice had a pinch of gritty agitation which was overlooked by Sine who looked up surprised as her lips bloomed into a grin the next moment. "Toy! You're home early today!"
She stood up quickly and hugged her son as he replied not as enthusiastically, "Yeah," Sine parted as she met his eyes, noticing only now he had other things in mind, "I wanted to talk to you about something,"
Sine blinked, a little perplexed, but nodded as she sat back down without saying a word, "Come, have a seat."
But he just shook his head, starting impatiently, "Mae, I have been noticing you for a while now." Sine could sense the irritation in his tone of speaking as she went back to stirring in her tea while keeping her gaze at him,
"And that is?"
"You asked me not to do something which reminded him of his pain," Sine's lips sealed as she slowly diverted her gaze back to the tea,
"Then tell me how you looking at him with such a pitiful gaze will help him to move on?"
His mother took out the spoon from her tea then, clinked it on the rim twice and set it down on the table as she hooked her finger through the hole, lifting the cup and drinking from it,
It angered Toy to be ignored like this but he continued nonetheless, "The night he arrived at our home and ate noodles with the spicy sauce, you gawked at him like Thai people don't eat spicy like they don't want ulcers!"
"Toy," Sine's words came gentle and quiet, just above the softly blowing wind, as she set her cup down and met her son's eyes, "Even though I have only raised one child, I know what habits one might possess."
With his eyebrow cocked in his annoyance, Toy placed his hand on his waist, "And that is?"
"The family I hail from, we don't like spicy foods,"
"Liking spicy food is not genetic mo- mae!"
With a razor sharp gaze, Sine looked at Toy once, "Let me complete first," And Toy sealed his lips, subsequently letting his hand down from his waist,
"I'm still in as much doubt as you are if he actually eats spicy or not but I saw the way he sweat that night, the way he turned red and most importantly, when he was eating the noodles, it was making contact with his lips. People whom I have seen eat spicy usually avoid the spice getting to their lips."
When his mother didn't continue, he breathed in again, "You know what?" Sine instinctively gazed up at her son, "There's only one way to know."
And he darted from there, "Toy?" His mother frantically called as he could hear her sandals clicking against the marbled floor, "Toy! Stop!"
