Chapter 2 'New Addition'

You were riding to East Akkala stable with Link by your side on his horse, and you turned red just thinking about it.

Once you reached East Akkala stable, you and Link boarded your horses.

"What's your horse's name?" You asked Link as you were walking to get a bed for the night.

"Oh, her name's Epona." He said, putting rupees on the counter for a bed.

"Oh! That's a really pretty name!" You said, as you opened your bag, to get 20 rupees out. That was until Link stopped you.

"Don't worry about it; I already paid for you!" He said, giving a friendly smile.

"Oh, you didn't have to do that." You were interrupted.

"No, really, it's fine! It gets lonely when traveling by yourself. I have plenty of rupees to spare anyway." He smiled and walked to his bed, then plopped down on it.

You smiled back at his action, walking over to your bed. You took off your cloak and corset so you could move more freely in your sleep. Link was watching and blushed slightly at this, but turned away so you could have more privacy.

You got into bed and pulled the covers up. "Thank you for the bed again, and good night, Link." You mumbled, a yawn forming.

"Your welcome, night 'y/n'." He murmured back.

You then slowly drifted to sleep.

You woke up after a good rest and opened your eyes, adjusting to the light. You sat up, rubbing your 'E/c' eyes. You looked over to Link's bed; it was empty and made. You stood up and made your bed, put on your corset, and held your cloak in your hand as you walked to the front of the stable to grab your horse.

"Here you are, miss." The man at the counter said, as he handed you the reins to Maximus, You draped your cloak over his back and led him to a pool of water near the stable. You let him drink the water as you washed your face off, brushed your hair, and ate an apple for breakfast. Giving an apple to Maximus, you brushed his mane and braided one small braid into it, with a very small blue nightshade intertwined into it. You stood back and admired your work.

"Good morning, 'y/n'!" You heard a voice say:

You turned around and saw that it was a link.

"Oh, good morning, Link. Sorry, I didn't try and see where you were; I just had to do a few things before I started my day." You replied, giving a bright smile.

"Oh no, it's fine. I just cooked some food for breakfast; you want some?" Link asked.

"Sure!" You hopped on Maximus and followed the link to where the breakfast was.

It was 'f/m', your favorite meal!

"Link, this looks delicious!" You grabbed a plate full and scarfed it down.

Link looked at you and laughed at how fast you had finished it.

"Want mine?" He smiled as he held out his breakfast plate to you.

"Oh, um... no, I'm good; you can have it." You smiled at him, a bit embarrassed.

Both of you laughed as Link finished his food.

You threw your cloak on.

"Hey, 'y/n', I have to tell you  something."Link said.

"Sure, what's up?" You said you were fiddling with a string on your cloak that had come loose.

"So, um, I'm Zelda's personal, appointed knight; I have to go defeat Ganon and stuff like that." He hesitated. You looked at him, baffled.

"That's amazing, link!" You smiled.

"Really!?" He asked, surprised.

"Yea really!" You giggled.

"I was wondering; it does get somewhat lonely saving Hyrule alone... So I was wondering if you would like to join me, 'y/n'?" He asked with a nervous smile.

Your mouth dropped. 'There is no way; THE legendary hero just asked YOU to accompany him on his quest,' you thought. "Um, yes! Of course I will!" Your 'E/c' eyes shone in the sunlight.

Link's smile widened. "Great, we'll start today then!"

Sorry this chapter is kinda short, but as the story goes on they will get a little longer. Just want to keep you on your toes, LMFAO.
