Jeongin's povThe next few days were uneventful. Chan watched over me constantly to make sure I was okay, and all the others had apologized.
They all began to treat me well again. Everyone was treating me like they used to; teasing me cutely or holding me sweetly. It was nice to be back to normal.
"Chan?" I asked, looking up at him from his chest. We were laying together on the couch watching a movie.
"Yes?"
"I love you," I said, snuggling closer to my husband. I could hear the grin in his voice as he responded.
"I love you," he said, giving me a gentle squeeze and a kiss on my forehead.
"So, we're married now, right?" I asked, drawing shapes on his chest. Chan hummed in agreement.
"When can we think about adopting?" I asked softly, but Chan still heard me. Chan sat up quickly with me on his lap.
"Sweetheart, we're-"
"We're supernatural, I know, but why can't we have a family still?" I asked. Chan sighed and laid his head on my shoulder.
"Baby, we can't have kids; they're a lot of time and work, and they wouldn't be safe here." Chan explained, still against my shoulder. I wrapped my arms around him and thought about it.
"If I were to drink my own blood on top of Lucifer's blood, would I be strong enough to take out Wonho?" I asked, already knowing what the danger was out here.
"Baby-"
"I want a family with you, and if I have to kill the threats then I will."
"It'll eat you alive to know you killed someone," Chan said.
"He's hurt me before, so this'll be getting revenge, right? I'll be okay," I responded, carding my fingers through the hairs on the back of my husband's head.
"Are you sure you'd want to go through with this?" Chan asked. I nodded.
"Okay, Minho and I will go collect the items needed to draw blood. Changbin and Jisung will protect you," Chan said, pecking my mark before sitting me on the couch.
"Wait, I want a real kiss," I said, then puckered my lips. Chan rolled his eyes with a soft smile before kissing me properly.
"I love you,"
"I love you."
Chan and Minho left, then Changbin and Jisung came downstairs to sit with me.
"Kids?" Changbin asked softly. I nodded shyly.
"I want a family," I said, smiling softly at the thought of having children.
"You really love him, don't you?" Jisung asked softly.
"I really do; I'd do anything for him," I said. Changbin smiled and kissed my forehead.
"That's sweet, Innie."
"Are you guys mad?" I asked timidly. The pair shook their heads.
"No, we're not. We're aware of how idiotic we acted, and we don't want to repeat that again. Your happiness comes first, as it always should have," Jisung said, gently caressing my cheek.
"Do you think Minho would like to get closer like we are?" I asked. The pair smiled softly and nodded.
"We're sure that if you asked him on a date, he'd say yes," Changbin said. I smiled and nodded happily.
"Where's Felix and Seungmin?" I asked.
"They're upstairs but they're coming since they heard you," Jisung claimed, then said vampires were in front of me.
"What did you need, Innie?" Felix asked, smiling as he caressed my hair.
"Can we bake your recipe for brownies and cookies?" I asked. Felix smiled still and nodded.
"Of course we can! Come on, I make sure we keep all of the ingredients!" Felix exclaimed, then rummaged through the cabinets for the required ingredients.
"What did you want me for, Jeongin?" Seungmin asked softly. I smiled and gently pecked his cheek.
"I can't just leave precious Minnie out when we four are baking sweets, now can I?" I said, smiling as Seungmin's cheeks flushed.
"Thank you for thinking of me," he said, hugging me around my shoulders. I wrapped my arms around his waist and gave a gentle squeeze.
"Always."
A little while later, we sat at the table with plates filled with brownies and chocolate chip cookies with glasses of milk.
"Thank you Felix!" I said, hugging the vampire around his waist.
"Of course, Innie. I'll always bake with you," Felix said, pecking my forehead sweetly. I gained some courage through our hug and leaned up enough to almost lock lips with Felix, giving enough space for him to reject if he wished.
"Can I?" I asked softly. Felix gently placed his lips against mine in a slow peck, but I felt electricity shoot up and down my spine by the kiss.
"What was that?" I asked softly, gently touching my lips with the pads of my fingers. Felix looked scared before he responded.
"You're my mate, Jeongin. My vampire mate is you. You're Chan's werewolf mate, yes, but my vampire mate." Felix teared up and sat down in a chair beside me.
"He's gonna kill me," he muttered. I gently took his hand in both of mine.
"I won't let him. If you're my mate then you're my mate- not Chan's. Chan wouldn't dare lay a finger on you if he knows what's good for our relationship," I scoffed.
The three vampires around us watched on with wide eyes.
"You'd really risk losing chan for Felix?" Seungmin asked.
"I'd risk not having sex with the man or kissing him or anything of the sort for months. I'll take away the things he likes most, and see if he can handle it." I said.
"So why aren't we having sex or kissing for months? What did I do now?" Chan asked.
I stood up from the table, still holding onto Felix's hand, and led the vampire towards Chan.
"Vampires have mates. I'm a vampire Chris. I just found out Felix is my mate. If you hurt either one of us in any way you will sleep on the couch and go without sex, kisses, and my cooking. Understood?" I said. Chan's face fell into a glare as it turned red.
"There's no way-"
"Our spines felt like they were electrocuted, Chan. That's the sign for a new vampire finding their mate," Felix said.
"Treat him well, Yongbok," Chris said. Felix nodded and gently squeezed my hand that was still embraced by his.
