Chapter 19

The entire building was shaking once Bakugo-kun released a large scale explosion. It hadn't just been the one where the explosion had gone off but also were we, the rest of the class, were standing and watching.  "This is supposed to be a class!" Kirishima-kun pointed this out as we felt the explosion.
"Young man! Young Midoriya!" Our teacher was calling out to the boy that was caught up in the explosion. Smoke and dust covered over the camera, making the class unable to see anything. However, the dust began settling to see that Midoriya-kun was laying on his back, just a foot from the damaged caused by the explosion. Seeing that he narrowly dodges the blast that destroys a large portion of the building caused me to feel relieved.
It was then when Bakugo-kun walked out from the dust with a large evil grin across his face as Midoriya-kun looked to be terrified.

I was about to see movements from the corner of my eyes on the screen and turned to see that Chaco-chan was dashing for the bomb, as Iida-kunwas shouting into his earpiece trying to get answers about the explosion they felt. She was trying to use it as an opening to grab the weapon. However, Iida-kun noticed her and began running towards her, arms open wide to grab ahold of her. She floated herself and makes a jump to avoid the young man, she was heading right for the bomb and about to land on it. But he is too fast for her and uses his Engine Quirk to keep the bomb out of her reach. Chaco-chan came somersaulting across the ground until see his the wall.

Back to the terrified Midoriya-kun and scary Bakugo-kun, who was taking to him motioning the green hair boy to come at him. However, instead Midoriya had reached for his earpiece and began talking. Seeing this seemed to have ticked Bakugo-kun off. "Sir, you shout stop them!" Kirishima-kun began shouting at our teacher. "That Bakugo's really crazy! He's gonna kill him!" Even though he says that, I couldn't help but think that wasn't the case. It wasn't something I could say for certain as it was just a feeling, but I really believe that Bakugo-kun wouldn't do such a thing. Not matter how much he hated Midoriya-kun.
"No..." At least I wasn't the only one that felt that way as All Might seemed to disagree to stop. "Young Bakugo, the next tie you use that, I'll stop the fight, and your team will lose." All Might warns him not to fire another blast or his team will lose automatically. "To attack on such a large scale inside is inviting the destruction of the stronghold you should be protecting. That is a foolish plan for both heroes and villains! You will lose a lot of points for it!" This was being explained to him. I could see the irritation across his face as he heard that. Midoriya-kun came to stand up but the moment he did, Bakugo-kun sent himself moving towards him in anger. He was going for a close-quarter combat. Midoriya-kun wasn't able to dodge so he was ready to counterattack, however, a mini explosion went off in Bakugo-kun's hand creating a smokescreen while his body shifted into a different direction. He had moved behind and blasted Midoriya-kun from behind.
"He doesn't look like the type to think, but he's more subtle than I expected." I glanced to Sho-chan in surprise. He normally wasn't the first one to speak up and yet he did.
"What do you mean?" Our classmates didn't seem to understand what he meant by that, however, I did.
"Sho-chan's stating that Bakugo-kun used the blast to not only change his course but also as a smokescreen to block Midoriya-kun's view, preventing him from reacting to the attack from behind." I came to explain the situation to my fellow classmates, index finger moving in the air as I did.
"Getting in a clear hit while fighting against inertia requires fine lateral adjustments to the power of the explosions." The one that explained this had been the girl called Yaoyorozu-san.
"He's too talented... Too talented... ugh..." Seems to me that some were a bit jealous about this fact. It was then when Bakugo-kun grab ahold of Midoriya-kun's arm and slams him into the ground using explosions from his free hand to build up momentum.
"This is lynching! He can capture him for this exercise by just wrapping the tape around him!" Seeing how brutal Bakugo-kun was didn't sit well with the rest of my classmates.
"Those are not the actions of a hero." It was because of Bakugo-kun's tendency to go too far as well as acting like a villain.
"I thought Midoriya was pretty amazing, too, but in terms of combat power, Bakugo is definitely a ball of natural instincts."
"He's running away?" This was asked as they noticed how Midoriya-kun began stumbling away.
"That's not something a man should do, but he has no choice. But somehting's strange... Why...?" Hearing Kirishima-kun questioning this I had to wonder as well. Even though Midoriya-kun was trying to run away he was heading towards the side of the building where he wouldn't be able to escape unless he jumps out the window. Bakugo-kun had began heading towards him saying something. But then something was shouting by Midoriya-kun and soon, filled with emotions, both fighters rush each other for a final clash as Midoriya-kun seemed to finally use his Quirk which seemed to delight Bakugo-kun as he moves to attack.
"I said, this looks bad! Sir!" Kirishima-kun once again was shouting at All Might that stood there, watching the screen.
"Both of you, sto—" As he was about to finally stop the two of them he stopped and I saw Chaco-chan grabbing onto a column out of nowhere as Midoriya-kun swung his fist up towards the ceiling as Bakugo-kun's attack hit him straight on. The ceilings were destroyed and the ground of every floor above them, including the one Chaco-chan and Iida-kun were on. This smash created enough debris for Chaco-chan to use on the floor above. She uses her Zero Gravity Quirk on the pillar she had been grabbing onto to float it and uses it to bat enough shrapnel towards Iida-kun. A dumbfounded young man shielded himself from the projectiles. Caught in the onslaught of rubble, he was unable to stop the girl from using her Quirk on herself again to jump the hole in the ground, grabbing the weapon. However, when I looked back to the two from before I couldn't help but gasp as Midoriya-kun had been forced to take the full brunt of Bakugo-kun's Explosion. His arm had been broken from using his Quirk, but his other arm was covered in the aftermath of the explosion.

The class stood in silence as they looked at the screen of the battle. "Hero... Hero team... wins!" Until All Might had finally managed to speak as Midoriya came collapsing to the ground. However, there was only one thing that someone couldn't help muttering.
"It wasn't this bad before." Mayumi came to say to herself, but a second later she ended up tilting her head. "'Before'?" She repeated that word again, but this time it sounded like a question. "What is this 'before'?" When she tried to think of why she said it, another one of her headaches began. It was strange how they kept happening whenever Bakugo or Midoriya were involved.
