Chapter 08

Kairos Sullivan (Point of View)

Fuck! Why did I do that?

Ngayon lang ako nawalan ng control. I almost kissed him! I don't know why the hell I feel so jealous of him and his crush, Sebastian Grayson. Ano bang meron sakaniya na wala sa'kin? Until now I keep on thinking about that day, it's been three days. I haven't seen him and I think it's great na hindi kami iisang school na pinapasokan because I don't know what to do if ever na lagi kaming nagkikita.

I'll go rogue if that happens.

"Tignan mo nga naman..." I heard a familiar voice behind me. I'm at the bench near the field doing a business proposal, I'm alone since Ethan has class and I don't know where Alexander went. I ignored Laurenz Falcon and continue doing my things. Ayaw ko ng gulo at hindi naman siya importante para pagtuonan ko pa ng pansin.

Umupo si Falcon sa harapan ko at pinaglaruan ang mga ballpens ko. "Why so quiet, Sullivan? Tsaka nasaan na pala yung cute mong boyfriend?" He's grinning like a madman

I sigh. "Go find someone who will entertain your crap," I replied without glancing at him.

Laurenz burst out laughing. "Anyway, I heard Diane is back. You're not gonna beg for her forgiveness?"

She's back?

"How about you? Hindi mo ba siya pupuntahan at sasambahin? Aren't you going to beg for her love?" I retorted.

Diane is someone I want to stay in the past. She was my girlfriend, but she's also a fucking cheater. She cheated on me and got abused by her other lover. Her parents knew that I was her boyfriend at that time and suspected me to be the one who abused their child. She almost died because of that guy who beats her up. Hanggang sa umabot sa korte ang kaso niya, I was the main suspect for attempted murder. Hindi niya sinabi ang pangalan ng lalaking nanakit sakaniya kaya hindi ako pinaniwalaan ng korte ng sinabi kong hiwalay na kami at niloko niya ako.

My life almost got ruined because of her.

Laurenz Falcon is madly in love with Diane. When he found out about Diane's case, that's when his hatred started, he loathes and curse me to death. I don't want to explain my side anymore kasi napatunayan naman na hindi ako ang gumawa non kay Diane but this guy just won't believe it and he'll keep believing that I am the real suspect. But I don't care about that anymore.

I look at Laurenz when he went silent. Nakita ko ang galit sa mata niya habang tinititigan ako. His gripping the ballpen really tight. I was surprised when he attacks me with the ballpen almost stabbing my hand but I was fast to grab his arm to stop him.

This man is crazy!

"Fuck you!" He shouted and went violent. He started throwing punches but I always dodged it. I punch him straight in the face and he fell to the ground.

Rinig kong nagsigawan ang ibang estudyante na nandoon sa may field at pinalibutan nila kami. Laurenz stands up and runs to me. I was caught off guard when he stab me with my ballpen on the shoulder for how many times. Nagtilian ang mga babae na nakakita dahil dumugo na ang balikat ko. Doon lang umawat may umuwat. Hinawakan nila si Laurenz at hinila papalayo.

Tangina

"Iros! Pota bro! Ayos ka lang ba?" Ethan help me up at inalalayan ako paupo. I put pressure on my wounds and when I look at my uniform it's already covered with blood. "Hayop na Falcon 'yon! May saltik talaga sa utak ang gagong 'yon, eh!" Galit at nag-aalalang sigaw ni Ethan.

"I'm fine, don't worry," I told him.

"Dalhin na kita sa clinic." Tumango ako at tumayo na. Inalalayan ako ni Ethan habang naglalakad kami, nakayuko lang ako.
