(Your Name) sighs as he sets the basket of freshly baked cookies on the counter. He sits down behind the counter and looks at his warm and cozy shop. The male smiles contently, happy with what he has.
The door bell rings as someone enters, it was the owner of the saloon, Gus. (Your Name) nervously said a greeting to him. "Hello (Your Name). I just wanted to check out on how you're doing, I know that starting a shop is hard, but you seem to be faring well!" He says with a guttural chuckle.
"Um, thank you Sir-" "Ah, no need to call me that. Just call me Gus." "O-okay! Um..Gus!" (Your Name) mutters the older man's name under his breathe multiple times.
"So, how's the customers? No one's coming to bother you right?" "Um no, Gus...everyone is so nice..!" (Your Name) says with a nervous but happy smile. "Ah, that's great. Y'know your bread is wonderful, Pam actually ordered it with her beer. Thank goodness.." Gus says with a smile.
The long/medium-haired male quirks his head at Gus, curious who Pam is. "Ah. Pam is a customer who visits the Saloon every night, I worry for her sometimes. I'm grateful that she's supporting the business but...she orders too many beers at some nights without any food." Gus says while scratching his head.
(Your Name) nods slowly, "Um..I understand why you're worried for her. It's not good for Pam's health to drink so much." Gus nods in agreement, "Yeah I agree. And Pam isn't quite wealthy, taken from her babbling when she's drunk. Alcoholism is not a cheap habit.." The man says while placing a on the counter.
"Um..you can have that for free..." (Your Name) says slowly as he nudges the cookie toward Gus, "Really? Won't that slow your sales down?" Gus says, surprised at the boy's words. "Um..no it won't. Everyone deserves a little gift for themselves sometimes.." The long/medium-haired male said while tucking a hair strand behind his ear.
Gus sighs and shakes his head, but he smiles nonetheless. "Okay (Your Name), thank you for the cookie, but you don't have to be so giving of gifts too many times, at least twice a week should be good." "Um...but-" "No buts kid!" (Your Name) exhales loudly like a kid.
"Some people might take advantage of this kind of behavior, unfortunately. So be careful (Your Name)." Gus says wisely as he quickly drops some gold at the counter before walking off swiftly.
"W-wait! Um! Gus!" (Your Name) tries to call back for Gus with the handful of gold in his hands to no avail. He sighs and smiles. "People...are too nice...".

The baker is now in the storage unit, carrying heavy bags of flour to the kitchen. He grunted softly as he plopped down the kilos of flour on the kitchen floor. His head turnt as he heard the door bell ring in the front of the shop.
