"Yang, Ms. Xiao Long, please wake up this instant!" Ozpin semi yelled. Yang grumbled and turned, saying, "5 more minutes Wiess, the sun isn't even up."
Ozpin sighed in disappointment as he grabbed Yangs arm and then yanked her up so fast that Yang was now standing up. "Huh?" Yang says as she almost falls "Woah, um... where are we?" Yang looks around at the stone walls with other only light being a broken lanter with an open flame coming from it. "Yang Xiao Long", Ozpin spoke sternly "I need you to listen for 1 minute. We are not in Remnant and to prove it to you."
Ozpin guided Yang to a broken window with bent metal bars lining it. Outside was a line of houses and a road, in the middle of the road was a pile of human corpses with 2 large wolf like monsters devouring the pile. Yang and Ozpin then duck as another Wolf like monster passes by the window. Yang turned to Ozpin as the monster walked off then whispered, "So... what now? I don't have my gauntlets or any type of weapon?" Ozpin sighed then said, "I wish I knew... we will have to wait till they are asleep or go away before we move to some sort of safe location. So while we wait do you wanna ask any questions?" Yang thought for a moment as the monsters growled in the background. Yang took a deep breath as She and Ozpin sat down, afterwards Yang answered, "Yes... why did you let Ruby into Beacon? Sure, she is amazing, but she is far too young. I joined Beacon for many reasons and 1 was to be strong to protect Ruby."
"Well... so did I", Ozpin answered "I want her to be strong enough so she can protect herself so she doesn't end up like Summer, and so I can right the wrongs I made when I sent Summer out on her last mission." Yang stood up and then yelled, "Shut up! If you wanted to protect Ruby you would have at least waited before any of us got into this mess! Before you accepted her to Beacon! What are you even doing? Are you really protecting any of your students?" Ozpin was slightly stunned and before he could talk Yang was grabbed by a long furry arm with 5 large claws at the end. Yang was being pulled out the broken window by the wolf like creature and to its agape serated teeth maw only held back by the broken bars and glass. Yang screamed as her arm was being crushed and ripped apart to which Ozpin lept to action grabbing a broken chair and smacking it against the wolf doing nothing. Yangs arm was being cut into as her body came closer and closer to the beast. Yangs arm was close enough to be smelled by the wolf beast as it opened its mouth even bigger to devour her. "OZPIN HE-!" Yang yelled as soon as she did the monster let go screaming in pain as a block of concrete slammed into the back of the monster impaling the beast onto the metal bars and killing it. The concrete was pulled back and away from the beast only held to eachother by blood and pieces of fur as in the street was a man.
The man had black priest like clothes with a white cloth around his neck as he held a giant hammer made of concrete with a wax seal holding a mini chain with a symbol of what looked to be a sword hilt at the end.
The other 2 wolves surrounded the priest as he smiled to Yang and Ozpin as he placed the hammer in front of him and let the end hit the ground breaking the stone path. The first wolf beast jumped at the priest then was sent flying as the priest slammed the hammer into the airborne wolf. Afterwards the priest charged the second wolf and slammed down the hammer missing as the wolf jumped back, then extended its claws to attack.
The priest blocked the attack as he slammed the top of the hammer into the beast. As soon as he did the first beast jumped onto the priest's back and punctured its claws into the back of the priest making him yell in pain.
The priest pulls his head back slamming the back of his skull into the beast on his back. Afterwords he swings his hammer, squishing the beasts head. When the wolf goes limp the last wolf beast jumps on the priest grabbing the priest's arms. Once the priest was stuck the wolf monster bit into the priest's neck. The priest screamed as he shambles and in the dark a spark and ringing of metal spew out as a sword from the concrete and stabbed the wolf again and again till the wolf monster finally dies.
The corpse of the wolf is rolled over as the priest drags himself against the steps of a house and breats heavily.
Yang jumped out over the corpse of the dead wolf beast that was impaled and out to the street. "Yang, wait!" Ozpin yelled as he quickly followed after. Yang ignored as she ran to the priest as he was looking to the moon, not the broken moon of Remnant, but a full dim moon. As Yang came over the priest, the priest spoke, "Ah the sun... it is more beautiful than the last time I saw it."
Ozpin finally came over as it was obvious that the priest was becoming delusional. "He is dying", Ozpin said as he looked around at the cold streets.
"It's glow is so wonderful. It feels so warm. What a beautiful light indeed... please oh light of a beautiful sun angel, may you stay with me till I go to the beyond?" The priest lifted his hand up as he looked at Yang. Yang slowly took it to which the priest smiled and laughed slightly then spoke again, "there are people who need warmth like this... they are all in danger... they are at the clinic, it is... just southeast from here... my Kirkhammer... it has my badge, they will know you are kind... please... help... them..." the priest fell against the stone stairs and he lost his grip.
Yang started crying softly and after around half an hour the priest was put at the side of the street. Afterwards Yang grabbed the sword and tried many times to put the sword into the concrete and once it was in Yang tried with all her might. Yang barely lifted the hammer onto her shoulder.
Ozpin placed a hand om Yang's shoulder then spoke softly, "It's okay Yang... he at least felt happiness before he left this nightmare of a world." Yang wiped off her tears then asked, "which way is southwest? We need to help those people... hopefully Ruby, Wiess and Blake are there."
