Growing up my parents didn't really give me affection so once I got a boyfriend it was always awkward when they would hug me or even hold my hand.

Until I got the boy of my dreams, Mason Thames. I told him about how my parents didn't give me affection when I was younger and he understood.

Each time Mason gave me affection I felt wanted and special, I felt that with the other boys I've dated but this time for some reason it felt special.

So each time Mason would hug me or cuddle me I learned how to react to it, now sometimes we even kiss.

Now Mason and I have been dating for 1 year and tomorrow is our 1 year anniversary.

I hear a knock on my door, snapping me out of my thoughts, "Hey y/n/n you ready to go?" Mason says from the other side, "Yeah!" I say back.

I get out of my room as I see Mason with flowers and f/s, "Aww mase!" I say hugging him, I pull away as he looks at me, "you look beautiful my love" Mason says.

"Thank you handsome," I say, He gives me the flowers and snacks. "Happy 1 year anniversary," He says smiling, "Happy 1 year anniversary," I say smiling back as we kiss.
