I had finished getting ready since Mason's coming over for Christmas, I spent Christmas Eve with his family so today we decided to spend it with mine.
I heard a knock downstairs so I hurried and sprayed some perfume and went downstairs smelling the food that my mom was cooking.
I opened the door and saw Mason with presents in his hand and a bouquet in the other.
I grinned at the sight as we greeted each other in a hug and kiss, "these are for you", Mason said handing me the flowers.
"Aww thank you, my love." I smiled hugging him.
"You're welcome gorgeous," He says smiling back.
I move out of the way allowing Mason inside then close the door, " Hello and Merry Christmas Mr and Mrs. L/N." Mason says placing the presents under the tree and then greeting my mom with a hug and my dad with a handshake.
We then walk upstairs to my room.
"You know you don't have to buy me flowers every time you see me", I giggle placing them in a vase filled with the other flowers Mason had bought me.
"No it's okay, flowers remind me of you." He smiles.
"So you're calling me a flower?" I raised an eyebrow as panic filled his face.
"What no! That's not what I meant, I mean tha-" He says before I kiss him cutting off the rest of his sentence.
I laugh, "I know what you mean Mase, I was just teasing." I smile as he laughs.
"I knew that," he says giggling.
We then lay down cuddling in matching pjs I had bought us, drinking hot chocolate as we watched a Christmas movie, waiting for the rest of my family to arrive.
Hours later my family was here so we left my room and went downstairs to the living room being immediately greeted by my uncles and aunts, who also greeted Mason.
We sat down in one of the seats at the table as my mom and aunts placed the food in front of us, and then my family gathered around sat down, and started eating.
After a while it was time to open the presents, we gathered around giving gifts to the ones we had brought presents for and opening them once we received them, after Mason opened his gift from me he gave me mine, I opened it seeing a pandora box, I opened it revealing a beautiful promise ring.
I smiled and hugged him and a kiss, I pulled away as he grabbed the ring held my hand, and placed the ring on my finger.
I hugged him, "thank you for the promise ring Mase," I said then pulled away.
"Of course my love," He says smiling as we see everyone looking out the windows.
We went to one and saw it was snowing, the view showed a gorgeous night with snow and lights on each house.
"Merry Christmas, y/n/n," Mason says looking at me with a smile as he wraps his arm around my waist.
"Merry Christmas, Mase," I say smiling back at him as we both look back at the snow while I place my head on his shoulder and wrap my arms around his torso.
