Matteo and Adriana are in the back of the Jet, talking and kissing. Cute. I wish I had a relationship like that. I haven't even had my first kiss before.

And I'm almost twenty one years old.

Basilio and Samantha are sitting in the front looking at the map and whispering to each other, smiling as well. It could never have been my parents.

Angelo sits alone on his phone with a book next to him. He's smiling at his text messages. Maybe texting some mystery girl (Or boy)

"Come sit with me." Luciano says. He leads me to a sitting area. I sit across from him as he pulls out his phone. I pull Poppy out of my pocket. Holding onto her.

I hold onto the arm rests as hard as I can. My knuckles turning white.

"Are you okay?" He asks me. "Right, you've never flown before."

"I've never been out of state either." I say.

"It's going to be okay." Luciano says, he reaches out to touch my hand, but I flinch, jerking it away. Father. His screams echo in my head. The belt hitting skin echos in my head. I hear him whisper under his breath, "What happened to you?"

I'm never going to tell him. I don't want to. I will always hide the scars and the bruises from him. I will never show him anything about my life before him. It's something that I pray he will never know.

"Are you hungry?" Luciano asks, breaking the silence between us. I shake my head, "No." Lies. I am.

"Okay." He says. "You haven't eaten in a while, I'm going to get you something, I'm not going to force you to eat it."

"Please don't." I say. "I won't eat anything. I don't feel hungry right now. Maybe later." His eyes connect with mine. It's like he can see past my lies.

"Fine." He says. "I'll be back soon." He gets up and goes to the back of the jet. He doesn't come back for a while.

He sits back down with a glass of whiskey. "Do you want some?" He asks me, and he grins. I shake my head. "No, thanks."
"You are no fun, you know that right?" Luciano asks. "I thought you were to be a lot more fun to hang out with, But oh well."

"You may have gotten the wrong girl." I say.

"I don't think so." Luciano says. "You are the same girl I remember all those years ago."

"Where did you see me?" I ask. "I have no idea who you are. I've never seen you before." I never had any plan to see him. I had no plan to be sold off to him.

But shit happens, doesn't it?

I look out the window as we lift off the ground. I watch, I feel really uneasy. I don't like flying one bit. I hate it.

I don't know if I will get sick or if I will be fine.

"Where are the bathrooms?" I ask Luciano. He looks at me with a concerned look, "Are you feeling okay?"

"I don't know." I say. I don't feel good at all. I think it might just be nervousness getting to me. I really don't know right now.

"Let me show you." Luciano gets up and leads me to the back of the plane, "Right there." He points to the door at the end.

I know that I'm going to be sick. I run to the bathroom, opening the door. Luciano follows after me, holding my hair up as I throw up.

I flush the toilet and I get up. "Sorry." I say, I go to the sink. I wash my mouth out and put cold water on my face.
