Hands To Myself-Selena Gomez

I don't leave my room for hours. I sit in the living area and watch TV with the volume down so Luciano doesn't hear me.

Knowing him he's probably pissed at me for holding a gun to his head, and I'm mad at him for holding a gun to mine.

We cancel each other out.

I know that I started it, But he gave me a gun, locked me in this apartment, and then scared me.

I know I am totally to blame, But I am angry and I won't admit it to myself until I have gotten over it.

I will let him apologize for locking me in here and then I will apologize for trying to kill him. I won't be the first to apologize.

Even though I know I should be. I feel like we both did things wrong. Maybe I did more than him.

There's a knock on my door and I yell, "Go away, Luciano! I don't want to talk to you."

"It's not Luciano." A girl voice says, It's Adriana. Adriana opens the door and walks in, shutting it softly.

"Where is Luciano?" I ask. I shouldn't really care. I don't. I don't. I tell myself that I don't.

"He went to the bar with a few of his friends." Adriana responds. "He wanted me to watch over you."

"Of course, almost twenty one and I still need a baby sitter." I say. "Sorry, Just stuff going on between me and him."

"It's fine, I understand. He's really protective over the people that he loves." She says. "He doesn't want you to get hurt by the people he knows."

"He locked me in here." I say. "He wouldn't let me out, he wasn't going to let me out."
"The door is unlocked, last time I checked." Adriana says. "If you want to go out and get some early dinner or late lunch with me."

"I would love to." I say, pausing, then I say, "I would love to get out of here."

Adriana smiles. "Get your clothes on and lets head out." She leaves the room so I can change into some jeans and a t-shirt with a hoodie.

I brush my hair and teeth, not giving a shit about my makeup. I meet Adriana in the living room. I don't have any money. Nor do I have my phone.

"I don't have money." I say. "I'm sorry." I was saving all of that money to get my own place and leave, but now that bank account belongs to my father. I think.

"Luc does." She says. "Lots of it, he won't even notice one hundred is gone, trust me." She loops our arms together and walks me right out of the apartment.

Adriana presses the button on the elevator. The elevator doors open and we get in. I notice what she is wearing.

A cute pink dress that reaches her knees with puff sleeves. She wears a necklace that has an A on it, and another one with an M. Her hair is pulled into a cute high ponytail with little strands of hair in the front.

She has light make up on. But enough that you can notice it. I wish I was like her, lived a life like she had.

Money. Love. Freedom.

We get out of the elevator and she walks me through the fancy lobby instead of underground garage.

She leads me down the sidewalk and onto the crosswalk. "It's only up here." She says, she walks me down another sidewalk and turn the corner where a cute little restaurant is.

Adriana walks up to the host stand, me a few feet behind her.

"Per due per favore." Adriana says. (A table for two) In Italian, I am going to guess. The hostess nods and grabs two menus.
