"You ready raven?"Blue asks me as we stand infront of the glowing portal.
"Always" I fly through it and into the giant dome.Fire burns buildings on one corner,Water crashes into boats in another,ice covers another and the ground moves like a living person in another.
"Katie?"A voice asks full of confusion and fear.
"Miss me hubby?"I joke landing on the floor next to blue.It's been a whole year since my wedding.I should probably catch you up.
Me and vain started training asap,we all made our plan,decided when was best to do said plan,meanwhile Blythe told everyone that we had a misunderstanding and I chose not to be queen,I broke my phone because he wouldn't stop messaging me,I caught up with the group,we ran from the hero's,a lot,cried over my father,made up with Ajax ,got closer with vain , and here we are now.
Blythe stares at me with hurt in his eyes.I've changed loads since he last saw me.My hair is pulled into a high ponytail and is now white with a black streak,I wear a white bodysuit that comes all the way up to my neck and vains long trench coat.My wings are bigger now I'd been training and preening all year round so only good ones remained.Scars scatter my body from training and hero's.I look over at blue and he mouths the word 'now'.I smile my hero smile and stand forward.Use your training katie show them what you are.
"Hello future hero's!"I open my arms up to the air.They stand infront of me up a flight of stairs if I can get to them then it's all over for them.
"Or villains" I add taking a few steps forward.
"I'm sure everyone knows who I am by now"another step.
"But for those who don't recognise me"I look at Blythe and take a few more steps.I'm at the stairs now.
"I am Kathleen Mae Everdeen!"i shout taking a few more steps. Just a little further.
"I used to be the no2 hero"another step.
"Almost your queen"Another step.
"I'm sure you all know who my father was"I say.I know they all think he's alive still.
"My dear father,Daniel Everdeen lord of finnick" another step forward.I can see them now my dear husband stands infront of the children.I don't want to hurt the kids but he has to die.Pay for his sins.
"Ah!My dear husband how I've missed you"I say holding my arms out for him.
"Katie why are you here?"He says pulling his feather into a sword.
"Not happy to see your wife?"I ask completely unalarmed and forming a sword of my own behind my back.
"You're not my wife"He says sturnly.I laugh at his statement.
"Try telling yourself that baby!You don't seem convinced at all"I say as I send my feather in his direction.Missed.
"You missed"
"Did I?"i ask flying back to my group.I turned off the alarms and locked the door.
"Ajax now!" Ajax summons portals infront of the kids and sucks them in. He makes others infront of our group and they step in willingly.Leaving only my husband and me.
And the fight begins.
