Etheria's POV

It's been a month since Meliodas died. Elizabeth somehow convinced me to change clothes since the one I wore before was bloody. The new outfit consisted of a tight-fitting navy blue button-up blouse with a sleeve on my right arm and a pink tie, a white very short skirt which had slits on either side, a black thigh-high stocking on my left leg, a black heel on my right foot and a white heel on my left which I'm not gonna lie with my figure I looked great in this. She also somehow managed to get me to help run Meliodas' business which I didn't refuse. After finding out that Elizabeth isn't the same one from 3,000 years ago from Merlin I've warmed up to her seeing her as a little sister.

Since reopening the tavern we've had lots of customers most of which were hitting on me. I soon found out they were here because they heard two beautiful ladies were running a tavern together. Elizabeth did the cooking and the serving and I tended to the bar helping her serve whenever we were full, Hawk was also a server as well as the scraps cleanup. "I've got a pineapple-ish pie for our guests at table number three. Thank you so much for waiting." Elizabeth announced as she ran to that table. "Look at Elizabeth. She's really got it together lately. Hmm." Hawk spoke then hummed. "Hey Elizabeth, don't run you might hurt yourself," I called out to her but it was too late as she tripped throwing the pie at the customers.

I walked out from behind the bar and helped her up ignoring the comments made by other patrons about my body. "It's ok. Things happen." "We're fine. So, just do your best." The men told her after she apologized. "Right. Thank you so much!" She thanked with a closed eye smile. "I'm thinking maybe I spoke too soon," Hawk said as I walked by. "No, you just jinxed her is all," I told him. Hawk hummed looking up at the staircase and seeing the knight they rescued standing there looking at him, "You finally woke up, huh?" He said causing the knight to gasp looking at him and Elizabeth with wide eyes. "It looks like you're feeling a lot better," Elizabeth said as she waved. "It does." Hawk chimed in.

The knight walked down the stairs as the other patrons walked out. "Thank you so much for helping me, huh? I'm really grateful. This may seem abrupt, but I should get going." He thanked ready to leave but his stomach growled rather loudly so Elizabeth made him soup.  I sat behind the bar resting my head on my palm and looking at the three. "Here you are. A piping hot bowl of my special homemade soup." Elizabeth shared. "Thanks. I appreciate it." He said as he took a bite which he immediately spat out. "Just like Meliodas. While they might use different techniques in the kitchen, Elizabeth's a natural when it comes to making food that tastes like real crapola." Hawk explained. "Sorry. Don't worry about finishing it, ok?" She apologized feeling embarrassed.

"Oh, no. It just caught me off guard. Now that I know what it tastes like, it's not so bad what I can't keep it down." The man said taking another bite as Hawk licked the table clean, "Best compliment ever. Hey, let me ask you something, Golgius..."  Hawk said looking at the man who spat out the soup this time on Hawk. He then jumped out of his seat and near the door. "Look, sucker! Don't you spit in my face!" Hawk yelled as he licked himself clean. "So, the two of you recognize who I am," Golgius spoke wary of the two. "Once I catch a whiff, I can't forget someone's scent," Hawk explained as he and the table sparkled. "Then why'd you save me? "I'm your enemy. Tell me the truth and don't give me nonsense about helping everyone in need. Whether they're adversaries or not." Glogius asked reaching for his sword.

This action caused me to jump over the bar and in front of Elizabeth. I summoned my sword and pointed it at him with a glare, "Choose your next move carefully." I warned causing him to gulp. 'Who is this woman?' He thought. Elizabeth held my shoulders, hid behind me, and blushed as Hawk raised his ear saying, "Just wanted to help, dude." "You what?" Golgius yelled as he fell backward seeing as he was not a threat I twirled my sword and it disappeared leaving sparkles in its place. "That's just who we are. I'm sure Sir Meliodas would have done the same." Elizabeth explained. "You wasted your time saving me. All the roads in my life lead to a bad end!" He said still gripping his sword but his hand shook.
