SPIDER SOCIETY
"Miguel, man, you gotta understand, I didn't mean to do it." Hobie, rushed out, fidgeting nervously. Even Peter B began to take notice of his antics, the reason behind Hobie's nerves starting to dawn on him too.
"Oh yeah? Go on, explain." Miguel nodded at him to continue, innocently.
"The plan was going great, I had the kid in my arms," He started.
"Uh huh? Really?" The smile Miguel held was extremely unsettling.
"Yeah, bro. The spider just crawled onto the wrong kid."
"Right, so let me get this straight. With the one opportunity I gave you, you mucked it all up. The spider bit the wrong kid?"
"I'm so sorry."
"Don't be, it's absolutely fine." Miguel shrugged, turning his back on Hobie just as the alarm bells start to ring to signify a disrupted canon event.
"Huh? It is?" A moment of silence between the three spidermen crept upon them. The most unnerving part was Miguel kept a radiant smile on his face.
A second turned into a few as Miguel turned around, but suddenly whipped back, flinging a computer monitor in Hobie's direction. If it wasn't for his spider sense, it would've hit him directly in the stomach.
"DUDE!"
"I can't with you! You know canon events being disrupted lead to ends of universes?"
At this, Gwen and Miles stroll into the room casually only to be met with flashing red lights, Miles with a bagel in hand. Everyone was acting too calmly.
At this moment, Miguel pressed a button summoning more spidermen. Triggering something on his watch, he created a portal to Earth 1611's dimension where the black hole was being created. Peter B quickly rushed to the teens, spinning them around and walking them in the direction they came from.
Miguel started walking backwards towards the portal, as he kept berating Hobie, who, at this point, was starting to get annoyed.
"Bad timing?" Gwen asked, grabbing Miles's bagel and tossing it away.
From behind them she could hear "AND I SWEAR TO GOD I'M BANNING ALL BAGELS!"
"Just a bit."
"Well that explains why Hobie rushed into us looking so panicked earlier. What did he do?" Miles questioned now they were out of the facility.
"He may have caused an anomaly in a canon event in your neighbour universe, Miles. 1611." Peter sighed, rubbing his hand along his face. Mayday giggled at the jaw drops of the two teens.
"How?" Gwen asked, jaw slackened.
"I assume the spider bit the wrong person. I just hope the impacts won't be too bad." Peter replied. As he picked up Mayday, the alarms stopped blaring, leading them to all run inside wondering what had happened.
Inside, Hobie was pacing around kicking furniture, throwing hands and shouting explicates. Peter's hands immediately went to Mayday's ears.
"Fuck this! He is such an ass and a hypocrite! GAH!" He shouts. The three cautiously walk over to him.
"What's happening?" Miguel's gone to Earth to deal with the new Spider-girl himself. Said something fucking stupid like thinking about taking away my watch. I tell you now, he doesn't even have to consider it because I will hand it in myself." He rants.
"Wait, dealing with her himself?" Gwen repeats, suddenly alarmed.
"If she's new to this, she's going to need help." Miles expresses. The four take a few seconds to briefly pause and think rationally. But when remembering the last time Miguel lost his cool like he did earlier at Hobie, and how Miles almost ended up with fang piercings in his neck, it was quickly decided.
