EARTH 1611

"When is she going to wake up? Come on, HQ has better medical resources than this place does. She only fainted, for heaven's sake." Someone moans in a deep voice, slightly accented.

"She's terrified as it is. I don't want her to be sent into a coma when she wakes up to find out she's not actually in her dimension." Another chimes in.

"Wait, I think she's waking up?" A female voice adds.

"It's about time." The first groans.

Wait, dimensions? HQ? COMA?

With that, Maggie's eyes flew open and she bolted into a sitting position, almost head butting the person to her left who was leaning over her.

"Where am I?" She rushed out. "How long was I out? How- What happened?" More questions kept tumbling from her mouth, not even having time to process in her mind. "Where's Peter?"

At this, two men stood up, one looking like the older version of her friend.

"I think I'm going to pass out again." She mumbles, clutching her head. A girl in a white spandex suit... hoodie thing rushes over to her to try and console her, but she pushes her away. "Get away, I don't know you." Maggie bites venomously to the girl who back away.

And when the memories of before her passing out hit her, she has even more questions. She turns her head to see Hobie watching her carefully and calculatedly, and glares at him. "What did you do to me?" Her aggressive words turned hurt, almost betrayed.

"Maggie, what happened was not his fault," her Peter butted in, making her whip her head to him.

"WHY ARE THERE SO MANY PEOPLE IN THIS ROOM?" She screeched, now feeling overwhelmed.

"Right, everyone out. I need a word with her now she's awake."

At the end of the bed stood the man behind everything. He towered over everyone and that really intimidated Maggie. His broad shoulders were coated in muscle, and his chest was extremely toned - you could see through the thin layer of spandex. As for his face, wow. His cheek bones were extremely chiselled, highlighting his symmetrical bone structure. His hair was at the length that it could be tied back, and in her bedazzled frame of mind, Maggie wanted nothing but to do that. To Maggie's standards, he was the most beautiful man alive. How she didn't notice his tanned skin and beautiful eyes before this, she'll never know.

Oh wait. He was chasing her, that's why.

Snapping out of her trance just before her Peter walked out of the room, she pleaded for him to stay. "Pete please don't leave me with this... this what are you?" She questions, looking directly at the man. "The Blue Panther?"

"OK this is getting tiring, kid." He says, rolling his eyes at her.

"I know it's hard, Mags, but you need to trust him. He explained everything to me while you were out like a lightbulb." He says, nodding to the stranger before exiting the room.

Now it was just Maggie and the beautiful, but somewhat aggressive hunk. He stared at her waiting for her to stop glaring at him. "You finished?"

"No." She continues to glare.

"Look, girl, I haven't got time for this. I have a multiverse to protect, so, are you going to cooperate or am I going to have to eradicate you? Your choice." Unlike how Hobie called her 'girly', there was so much hatred hidden behind his words being spat at her.

"Fine. But answer me this. What did you all do to me?" She gritted through her teeth, trying not to give too much attitude. She saw what he did earlier to Captain Mooney.
