It shouldn't be a suprise that sometimes Izuku can feel... insignificant. After what his childhood aquiantance had put him through.
Aside from that, he always put on a brave face. He was nervous dating you though... not in a bad way he just, didn't want to mess things up... not with you.
He covered his nerves up with muttering and watching you from a distance.. (you still showed him affection though).
Only a few days into dating he had gotten jealous of the fact that you were training with Todoroki and Iida... he didn't know why he felt the bubbling nausea inside of him but the way they would encourage and check on you.. even going as far as to hug you and hold your hand when you fell or got hurt.
Eventually, he got sort of.. frustrated.. the anxious jealousy taking over him..
After class he stood behind you.. and grabbed both your hands from behind and incasing you in a hug.. he gently kissed your cheek and your jaw making a shiver run down your skin..
"Izuku..-"
You were shocked to say the least, why was he being like this all of a sudden?
He shied away into your shoulder and mumbled something making you turn and face him.
"What's the matter?"
He stood there a bit shy...
"I was worried you would forget about me..."
You blushed and rolled your eyes at his sweet but unrealistic worries.
"Well you don't need to do anything to prove yourself.. you don't even need to kiss me like that if you aren't ready yet you know.. just talk to me..?"
He nodded and you two ended up going for a walk after school and you two had a lot of fun.
