Secret Letter... [Part 1]

-------> After Stephen got fired by
breaking the rule of not letting anyone in the basement with their authorities' permission, Catherine and Francis examine the remains and didn't have that much information. One day, Catherine decides to call Stephen.

*Catherine: Come on, pick up your telephone!

*Telephone system: Stephen isn't available at this time, please leave a message.

- Catherine tried to call him several times but he wouldn't pick up. But after the 19th call, he finally picked up.

*Stephen [Through Telephone]: Can you please stop calling me? My phone has been ringing for 25 minutes.

*Catherine: Stephen! You finally picked up!!

*Stephen: What do you want from me? I have helped you already, and I lost my job because of it.

*Catherine: Stephen, I'm sorry... I didn't mean to get you fired...

[Stephen stayed silent]

"... But please, Francis and I still need you to help us. " Catherine continued.

Stephen got irritated and said:
"So this is why you called!? Just for me to help you again!?

*Catherine: But...

"Save it, Catherine..."
- Stephen says this and hung up the call. Meanwhile, Catherine was devastated by losing a friend.

------> Stephen mostly study about the moon in his vacant time but this time, he went outside a few hours later to buy baguettes.

- "Where should I buy some baguettes?" Stephen questioned himself, "I'll search for some good bakeries."

------> While Stephen was walking, there was a man running from a bakery to him, he looks like he is in a rush. Suddenly, the man bumped into Stephen and he fell on the ground. Then Stephen groaned in pain.

*Man: My dearest apologies! I didn't mean to bump in you!

-----> The man apologizes to Stephen sincerely. The man ran away after he apologized...

*Stephen: Hey, it's oka-

----->... He didn't even let Stephen finish his sentence. The man ran as fast as he could away from Stephen.

"Okay... That.. Was weird?" Stephen said to himself.

----> Then Stephen remember something; "Oh! My favorite bakery I used to go to! Maybe I should buy my baguettes there."

-----> He also realized that where the man ran from was his favorite bakery. Stephen stepped inside the bakery and he suddenly smelled fresh croissants, tarts, muffins, even baguettes, and many more pastries. He also remembered his childhood, where he used to buy fresh bread and other pastries here.

"This is my first time coming back here again." He said to himself.

*Baker: Oh! Welcome, new customer. Oh wait, Stephen is that you?

- Stephen heard his name being called; then he saw his old friend as the baker.

*Stephen: Sebastian! Long time, no see..

*Sebastian: It is so nice to meet you again today. How may I serve you today, my friend?

*Stephen: Oh, I was just about to buy some baguettes.

*Sebastian: Some fresh baguettes coming right up.

- Sebastian puts some fresh baguettes into a paper bag, then Stephen asked something to Sebastian...

*Stephen: How are you, Sebastian?

*Sebastian: I've been doing great...
My family's bakery has been doing pretty great as well.

*Stephen: That's good to hear!

*Sebastian: How about you?

*Stephen: I'm doing great, I guess.

*Sebastian: That's good, here are your baguettes.

*Stephen: How much in total?

*Sebastian: Your total comes to 25 Astras.

----> Stephen tries to find his wallet in his pocket, once he found it, he gave money.

"Here's the money."

*Sebastian: Thanks, have a good day.

*Stephen: You too!

-----> Once Stephen was about to exit the bakery, Sebastian suddenly called him.

"Hey, Stephen! You dropped something."

- Stephen went back and took it and he questioned Sebastian.

"What is this?" He asked.
"I don't know, it fell out of your pocket earlier." Sebastian replied.

*Stephen: Thanks, I guess...

*Sebastian: You're welcome.

*Stephen: Well, I better get going now... Good bye my friend!

*Sebastian: Good bye, Stephen.

---> Stephen thought about the letter, because he never remembered he put one in his pockets; Until...
