Once he was back, his face was filled with depression. Stephen, Catherine and the others were in the palace to stay. When Albert entered the palace and to the accommodation room, he saw Francis with Alice and the others sitting on chairs.

*Albert: Oh, is that Alice?

*Alice: Hello, I am Alice.

*Albert: I thought you were in the hospital.

*Francis: She just got released.

*Albert: Okay, that's good.

*Catherine: So how was the concert?

*Albert: Well, I have good news and bad news.

*Stephen: Start with the good one.

*Albert: Colby played well and got Saint-saëns' attention.

*Catherine: That's great, then what is the bad news?

*Albert: The bad news is that Mrs. Salieri died by a heart attack...

----> Francis stood up in shock.

*Francis: You're not joking, are you?

*Albert: No. It was Colby's birthday that time.

----> Evelyn entered the room and heard what Albert said.

*Evelyn: What a poor soul. Witnessed his mother's death on the day where he should be filled with joy.

*Alice: That's sad.

*Francis: She took care of me whenever I got sick while my parents are away. I'll miss her.

(Meanwhile in Desdemona Inn)

---> After to what had happen, Colby took a break from being a soloist.
Jane wanted the inn to still be in business even if she died, she said this around when she was still hanging out with Augustus. Augustus decided to take care of the inn.

(The day after the death)

----> Augustus was cleaning the main desk at the lobby. Colby came up to him and asked;

*Colby: Father, do you need help?

*Augustus: No, it's fine... I can do it on my own.

*Colby: Are you sure?

*Augustus: Yes, I am sure.

*Colby: Okay then. I'll practice.

*Augustus: What piece?

*Colby: Mendelssohn Violin Concerto in E minor. It was mother's favorite because she said it was eventful.

*Augustus: Okay then. If you need help with the piece, you can ask me.

*Colby: Okay, father.

----> Colby goes to his room, grabbed his violin and started tuning. He listened to a recording of the violin concerto. He struggles with the opening but tries harder to get the right timing.

-> Two days after Jane's death, Augustus went out somewhere. Colby decided to play along with the orchestral recording while waiting for his father while not knowing where his father is heading.
---> Around midnight, his father arrived back.

*Augustus: Open the door.

*Colby: I'm coming.

--> Augustus drank somewhere and he's now drunk.

*Colby: Father, are you alright?

*Augustus: Shut up. You never even cared about me in the first place.
Just go to yiur room and practice.

*Colby: F-fine...

----> Colby stuttered. Of course, he did what his father said, but it was 2 in the morning.
