He had followed him until he saw him sitting on a bench, crying.

He hesitated for a moment, wondering if he should sit beside Gulf or not. But when Gulf looked up and saw him, Mew knew that there was no avoiding it. He took a seat next to Gulf and waited for him to speak.

"Mew? What are you doing here?"

 "I followed you," Mew replied.

 "Why?" Gulf wiped his tears.

"I wanted to make sure you were okay." Mew took a seat next to Gulf.

"I'm sorry for lying to you," Gulf said as he wiped away his tears.

Mew smiled at him reassuringly. "I know."

"What do you mean, you know?" Gulf was dumbfounded.

"I mean that I could tell from the way you talk and act that you come from a wealthy family," Mew explained. "You don't know how to set the table properly or clean the floors," he added.

Gulf frowned at him. "So all this time you've been staring at me because you were monitoring me?"

"It's not like that. I may have stared at you a few times more than necessary because I've come to realize that I may have some feelings for you," Mew said sheepishly.

Hearing those words made Gulf's heart leap with joy, and he felt like a huge burden had been lifted off his shoulders.

"That's all I needed to hear," he said, grinning from ear to ear.

Gulf felt his heart sink as he watched Mew talking to his parents at the restaurant. Mew shielded her face with her hands as she spoke to Gulf's mother.

"Gulf, we were searching for you. I was worried sick!" Gulf's mother said as she embraced him. His father glared at him, and Gulf knew that he was in trouble. He could feel his father's anger boiling inside him. Suddenly, without warning, his father slapped him across the face. Everyone in the restaurant was stunned.

"You are irresponsible!" His father shouted.

Gulf realized that this was the perfect opportunity to confront his father about his past.

"Me? An irresponsible son? What about you? You left a young boy after you killed his family in a car accident!"

Gulf's father was taken aback by this sudden outburst. The people around them started recording the altercation on their phones.

"It's not true! Shut up!" His father protested.

Gulf broke down into tears and continued sobbing as he looked at his father.

"All my life, you made me believe that someone was trying to kill you," Gulf said through tears.

Mew couldn't believe what he had just heard. His heart was racing, and his emotions were all over the place. He stared intently at Gulf, who was staring back at him with a look of confusion etched on his face. Gulf reached out to hold his hand but Mew stepped back, unable to bring himself to touch him.

Gulf knew he had to explain, but he was scared of how Mew would react. He could see the pain on Mew's face and it hurt him deeply.

"Mew, I know this is hard to hear, but my father was the one responsible for the accident that killed your parents."

Mew was overcome with emotion. Tears streamed down his face as he tried to process the information.

"How could you keep this from me, Gulf? How could you let me be with you for all this time without telling me what happened?"

"I-I didn't know how to tell you," Gulf stammered.

"I know how much pain you've gone through because of this. I didn't want to hurt you even more. Please, Mew, I'm so sorry."

Mew shook his head in disbelief. "Sorry doesn't cut it, Gulf. You've been keeping this from me all along. How could I trust you with anything now?"

"I understand if you don't want to be with me anymore," Gulf said, his voice shaking. "But please know that I love you, and I never wanted to hurt you like this."

Mew looked at Gulf with a mix of anger, hurt, and confusion. He didn't know what to say. All he could do was walk away, leaving Gulf standing there, alone and devastated.
