                           Grace's pov

I walk out of Charles' room, making sure I slam the door behind me. I walk slowly towards my room, my tears blurring my sight, making it hard for me to see where I'm walking. I take a few deep breaths, trying to calm myself down before I face other people.

Last night shouldn't have happened. All of it. I shouldn't have stayed with him. Now I'm feeling even more confused and hurt.

My thoughts are interrupted when I bump into a hard chest.

"Be careful there, sleepyhead."

I look up and see Arthur in front of me. Shit.
He wraps one arm around me, not letting me fall. When he sees that I regain my balance, he lets go and looks me up and down with a confused look.

I'm still wearing the dress from last night.

"Oh humm... I feel asleep as soon as I got to my room last night, so..." I say without meeting his eyes.

His face falls to the floor as well. Did he believe me? I didn't want to lie to him, but I don't want to tell him that I spent the night in Charles' room. Besides, there's nothing to tell. Nothing happened between us.

"Sorry for abandoning you again last night." he says.

"Arthur, it's okay really, I got here safe." I tell him while I cup his cheek with my hand.

"I'll go change real quick alright? Then I'll head downstairs."

I take the keys out of my pocket and open the door.

"Can I wait for you inside?" He asks.

I turn my head and nod. He then walks in with me.

Arthur helps me pick out an outfit for today. Then I start doing my hair and makeup and Arthur sits on my bed and stares at me the entire time.

"You're so beautiful." He tells me and i blush and hide my face.

Arthur gets up from my bed and comes near me, wrapping his arms around my waist. He pushes my hair on one side and gently kisses my neck. I can't help but shiver when he does so.

Last night Charles' lips were right on this spot...

He turns me around and looks at me.

"Go on a date with me." He says and strokes my cheek.

"Are you asking me to or?"

"No, I'm telling you to." He smiles then and I can feel the butterflies in my stomach going wild.

"And what if I don't want to go out with you?" I smirk and tease him.

"Then I'll make you."

He smashes his lips on mine and kisses me passionately. After a few seconds he pulls away.

"So, what are you doing tonight?" He asks.

"Hmm...I got a date with this hot guy."

"So you think I'm hot?"

"Don't let this get to you." I peck his lips.

"Thank you for keeping me company." I smile at him while he takes my head and we walk together downstairs.

"Of course, it was my pleasure."Arthur says.

We head for the restaurant where Camilla is waiting. She's seated at a table with...Daniel?
When she sees us coming she gets up and approaches us. She greets Arthur who then goes up to Daniel.

"Took you guys long enough." Cami says and I roll my eyes at her.

"Wait, you and Daniel?!" I ask amused but pleased.

"He might have spent the night with me." Cami says trying to hide her smile.

"Shut up!" I scream and Cami puts her hand to my mouth.

"Could you be any louder?" She laughs.

"Sorry, but you have to tell me all the details later."

I'm truly happy for Camilla. Daniel is a great guy. They literally are perfect for each other.

"Enough about me! Where were you last night?" She finally asks me.

"I-I was with Charles." I whisper.

"Sorry, what was that? I could not hear you correctly. I thought I heard you say you were with Charles." Camilla laughs not taking me seriously.

"I sleept in Charles room." I tell her now more loudly.

"You did what!" It's my turn to put my hand in front of her mouth.

"Shhhh, stop screaming woman!"

"You slept with him?!" She asks, with a grin on her face.

"God no, I slept in his room." I correct her.

"Seriously?! You really missed out on that opportunity." She winks at me.

"Get your head out of the gutter."

We both walk to our table and I hug Daniel, and take my seat next to Arthur. We order some breakfast and eat while having a conversation.

I'm having a good time with them but my mood is immediately ruined when I see who's coming towards our table.

"Can we join you?" Asks Pierre but doesn't wait for a response and pulls out a chair and sits down.

Charles then does the same but the only free chair is the one next to me. Now I'm sitting between Arthur and Charles.

"Hello Charles." Arthur greets Charles.

"Arthur." Is all that Charles says.

He won't even look at Arthur. Is this my fault?

Soon Carlos joins us as well.

"Charles we waited for you last night at the lobby, but you never showed up." Carlos then mentions.

Somebody kill me right now.

"I had to take care of something." Charles ends the conversation and as he does so, he puts a hand on my thigh.

I panic. I'm probably as white as a ghost right now. Is he really teasing me at the worst situation possible?

I quickly put my hand on top of his and I try to pull it away but his grip only tightens.

"Are you okay?" Arthur asks me, clueless of what's happening under the table.

"Yeah, I'm alright." I smile to reassure him.

When Charles' order arrives, he finally pulls his hand away and I can finally breathe again.

Soon they start talking. I don't feel like participating in their conversation so I just go on my phone but a certain comment catches my interest.

"Hey Charles, you got a little something on your neck." Daniel says and points to his neck.

I freeze.

Charles is wearing a white t shirt and the little bruises are clearly visible. Now all eyes are on him except from Camilla who is looking at me.

"Yeah, I...hmm." he tries to come up with an excuse and covers his neck with his hand.

He the chuckles when he can't think of anything to say.

"So you took the brunette from last night to your room?" Carlos asks and smirks.

I find the opportunity to get up and leave.

"I'll go and order more of that cheesecake." I say and head for the bar.

I take longer than I need to, while ordering, not in a rush to get back to the table.

"You didn't tell him did you?" Somebody asks behind me.
