Stacy's POV
I found myself tossing and turning. I woke up and Line was no where to be found.
My belly felt a little heavier than before so it would take me a little more time to get out my bed.
I checked the time at it was after 3 in the morning. Where could he be at this hours?
Eventually I got up and went in search for him because I felt uncomfortable and I needed some comfort. No matter how mad I am at him, I still need him sometimes.
When I got downstairs the place was so quiet I could hear everything, even the splashing coming from the pool.
"Who up swimming so early?" I asked as I made my way out there. The lights were low so I had to go closer to see who it was.
"Line?" I called.
"Yes" he answered just before diving into the pool again, making a huge splash.
Look like him oil or him duppy a ride him inna then morning yah.
I sat on the lounge chair waiting for him to come out of the pool. When he finally did he came out and sat at the edge of the chair.
"Why are you up and swimming at this time?" I asked.
He threw the towel over his head, " I couldn't sleep so I decided to take swim, hoping that would help. Why are you up?"
"I was having bad dream I guess and I needed some comfort but you were gone, I couldn't go back to sleep" I told him.
"Alright let me take you back to bed then" he said.
He got up first then help me to my feet. On our way back inside the house, the kitchen lights came on and out come Mel screaming.
"The Manor is on fire!"

Shanice's POV
"We are going to burn to death in here or die from the smoke" I said then pushed the wet towel back to my face.
"We can just give up like this Shan, we can't" Cotton said.
I tried to get up once more to find the way to the door but the smoke and heat wouldn't allow me to. It must have been our prayers that the sprinkler system came on then then alarm went off.
The entire apartment was flooded, everything got wet and something things got burnt and damaged.
Security finally came because of the alarm. He said he didn't see any smoke or fire and none of us had any clue how the fire started in the first place.
"We could have died in there and no one would know" Cotton said.
"Something must have went wrong because the fire alarm and sprinkler is set to go off at a hint of smoke or fire" the security said.
"Well it didn't and we should sue for damages" Cotton said.
"That's not possible because you're not registered to be on the property ma'am" the security replied.
He was right. I have a contract and it stated that they aren't responsible for anything that happen to visitors on the property.
"Look let's just get to the hospital and we can deal with everything else later because Allison doesn't look so good" I said.
I looked at the building and it was only my section got damaged, everywhere else looked solid.
