Chalkline's POV
"You're tired?" I asked Sitra.
I took her into my office to sit because she was visibly getting hot and tired.
"I'm fit, really fit but this was indeed a work out. I can skip gym for a couple days," she said as she rubbed her ankle.
"I should have told you to wear comfortable shoes."
"You have. The Louis Vuittons aren't made for walking the massive grounds of Walker Towers" she beamed.
I love how she spoke about the buildings, she was in awe with every corner of this majestic structure. Her words.
"You know? I'm really glad that you took the time to come here. You will have a better understanding of how I want New York Towers to be."
"Mr. Walker I've flew over this twice just to see the "W" on the helipad. I've been sold," she said.
I can't deny that I was blushing. This was the idea from my father, two giant buildings standing tall, just like us.
I wish he was here to see all this.
"Take your shoes off, I want to show you something."
She removed her shoes and I took her hand to guid her to the glass windows.
"Look across the parking lot."
"That's yours?"
"Yes, I built it for my kids and my close circle" I answered.
"It's beautiful and the playground is a breath taking view from here. I love it" she said.
"I'm going to give you an assignment. If you were to ever flew over here again, take a look on the playground and tell me what you see."
She looked up at me and smile, "I always did all my assignments, made me an excellent student."
"Good, I can tell," I replied to her and we both laugh.
She stepped back from the window and glance around until something caught her eyes.
"Your wife?"
I look up at Stacy's picture on the wall. "Yes, that my first lady. Mrs. Stacy Walker, you will get to meet her soon" I replied.
"She is a pretty lady and very lucky woman to have a husband so brilliant."
I blushed at the thought.
"Honestly, I would say I am the lucky one. She is a phenomenal woman, I'm lucky to be her husband," I said as we both looked at her picture on the wall.
"That's wonderful, to hear a man speak of his wife like this and she is not in his presence, it's rare."
"She's rare." I smiled.
"Do you have kids?"
I chuckled.
"I have enough to fill that building across the Towers, 11 to be exact and my wife is currently 7 months pregnant."
I took her hand and led her to the picture on the wall. "Here they are."
"Wow! You mean business. How do you manage it all. The kids, many businesses, being a husband?"
I had to laugh because sometimes I don't know how I do it.
"I can't take all the credit for my kids, I have some good ladies for mothers and as for my business, my team believes in me," I answered.
"That's wonderful Mr. Walker. I must say you are remarkable, just watching you work and how ideas flow from you easily, I'm in awe." She gushed.
"Thank you."
