Chapters 24 - Game Time

Chalkline's POV

"Me nuh wah watch the salon nuh more enuh" I said.

It felt like punishment just sitting here watching this disaster and I couldn't even do anything about it.

"Look how much times I sit in on your meetings Line?"

"That's different baby, this get boring now and me a get hungry" I said.

Plus more time she just wah watch to see who a flirt with me as she claims.

I got up from the bed and put my pants back on. I was so hot, I had to remove my clothes. Even under the AC I was sweating.

"Ok, I will be down in a minute. I'm going to make a call to check on everything" she said.

"Hear wah me seh nuh, me nuh want you up hear a stress over work so if me see too long passed and you don't come get something to eat, me and you aguh have it out."

"Ok, chill nuh. I won't stay long" she picked up her phone and I didn't wait much longer because I had to deal with this matter quick and fast.

I went in her search for Kelly because I needed to contact Shanice. I didn't think it was wise for me to use my phone to call her, giving her access to me.

Clearly she can not be contained and my way of deciplin was for women I wanted to stick on me, nor bitches I know I will have to kill.

"Kelly" I called out to her. She was cuddled up with Alrick. She got up and made her way to me.

"What want now?" she asked like I was being a bother.

"Like you figet seh you still a work. Anyways you know seh Shanice and her friends dem sit down inna Stacy salon right now?"

Kelly eyes grew bigger, she was in disbelief like I was.

Everytime I thought about it I got even more angrier. What would made  her do something so stupid?

"What the fuck, why would she do that?" she asked.

"Nuh must a point the bitch a try prove pon me" I said

It was so hard to hold everything that I was feeling inside.

"You a fuck har Garrick?" Kelly asked.

Why I felt hurt that Kelly asked me this?

"No, I swear me nuh fuck her. Just feel up and deh suh me wrong. Still she nuh have no right to do this."

"Well she has been sending messages and calling so maybe you should have just answered her."

"I don't have to fucking answer her, I don't owe her any obligation, I even told her. Aye me glad me  never fuck dah big idiot gyal deh enuh. Watch me har man."

"So what you going to do? Because you can't leave here."

She was right. It was hard for me to leave, especially with Stacy watching me more than the government at my gate.

"I'm going to talk to my mother, she is the only one that could help me right now."

"Please don't do anything crazy, remember you a have and a lot of kids plus a whole bunch of people who really depending on you" she said.

My mind was still blank and darkness was still covering my eyes.

"Save it Kelly" I said then walked away of in search of Mel.

I pushed her office door open and she was elated to see me.

"Just the person I wanted to see, come sit I want to show you something" she said.
