Kendall
'Do you even understand a word of what this man is saying?' Aimee turns to me abruptly, her usually optimistic tone gone, instead replaced with one of complete disinterest.
I turn my body to face the girl, giving her a lazy shrug of my shoulders as a response, ready for the prolonged lesson to just be over already.
I steal a glance at Aimee's phone, now situated in her lap, her nimble fingers eagerly tapping away at the small electronic device, her attention fully diverted from me, instead focusing on the device. She waits a few seconds in between periods of tapping at her screen, her eyes eagerly scanning the screen of the device, before breaking out in small giggles, and tapping away like her heart depends on it again.
'So, who got you smiling like that?' I smirk to myself slightly, watching as Aimee diverts her attention back to me, eyes wide and mouth slightly agape, looking like a deer caught in headlights.
'Oh, nobody. Just my biology project partner is all' She exclaims, heat rushing to her cheeks and staining them red.
Now, after many years of knowing the bubbly blonde, I've grown to know when she has taken a liking to someone. I mean, hell, I'd be dense if I didn't, the lascivious blonde had a new crush every week or so.
'Is that so? Who may that someone be?' I smirk playfully, raising a sharp, expectant eyebrow up, eagerly waiting for her answer.
'Oh- You know, just Payton Cunningham, no one really' she rushes out, looking anywhere but my eyes.
Payton Cunningham. The name rings a bell, yet I can't put a face to the name.
After a couple seconds of trying to piece a face to the name given to me, trying to visualise the girl Aimee was so clearly lusting over, thinking so hard I could practically feel the eager cogs turning and twirling in my head, my brain finds a face to piece with the mystery girl.
Oh hell no. Payton Cunningham. Audrey Abbot's best friend, wingman and minion since day one.
Now, I didn't know much about Payton, but what I did know was that she was not a nice person. The girl screamed trouble. I mean hell, I could still vividly remember that one time a year 7 came into school wearing the same bag she was wearing, so she decided to get the girl kicked out of school and get her a criminal record whilst she was at it too, framing her for possession of cocaine on school grounds.
Seeing me deep in thought, trying to process the information, Aimee chimes in, 'You know, she's not even that bad, really. She's nothing like her friend Audrey.'
I grimace at the way Aimee was blatantly defending the girl, a feeling of worry disguising itself as nausea creeping up my stomach.
'I can't control what you do Aimes. Just, please be careful. That whole lot, they all scream trouble' I suggest, watching as the bubbly blonde nodded her head in agreement.

It's been two weeks since the worlds last seen Audrey, the girl not bothering to show up to school, and not being seen around in public. In all honesty, the last interaction I've had with Audrey was the kiss.
The goodbye kiss we shared in the skatepark.
Even when I'm at the Abbot residence, cleaning away, I'm strictly instructed not to enter Audreys room, and she never makes her presence known around the house. Almost as if she was avoiding me.
In all honesty, it was quite refreshing. Like a breath of fresh morning air filling your lungs, ridding it of the stale house air that your lungs have been filled with throughout the night.
