You cursed under your breath as the second box today fell from the shitty shelves in the store you own.
You huffed and made your way over to clean up the mess. You started putting the items back into the box while looking to see what made it fall. You stood up and made more room on the shelf, ensuriing that it wouldn't fall again.
It was all cleaned up and back to normal, so you went back up to the front counter. You own a small shop (selling whatever you want idc), and so it doesn;t get too busy. You looked at the time, seeling it was nearly 4:00, and decided to pack up and close up for the day.
You were at the other end of the shop, just doing any last checks, when you heard the bell for the door ring. You tried no to audibly sigh too loud, but the customer must have heard you because he gave a response.
"I thought you'd be happier to see me, damn" you heard him say.
"Oh Tommy!" You ran to the front door to see Tommy standing right there, tall, long dark hair, smiling down at you. He held his arms out and you ran into him, hugging him back.
"God its been such a long day thank god youre here" You muffled into his shoulder.
He pulled away and handed you a bunch of flowers you hadn't realised he was holding.
"Oh Tommy thank you so much, god I love you" You said, then kissing him gently.
He kissed back and wrapped his hands around your waist, pulling you in more. He pulled away ever so slightly to say "I love you too baby", then continued kissing you.
You eventually pulled away even though you were sure you could stay with him like that forever.
"Come on babe, lets go home". Tommy helped you close up for the day and walked you out to his car, which was a relief since you had walked to work this morning.
You were staring at the flowers the whole way home, only then realising that Tommy had stuck some of your favourite chocolates in the bouquet. -god hes such a softie when he want to be-
