The pizza arrived at like 9:30. But that's ok with me because that meant movie time. Maybe if I watched The Rocky Horror Picture Show it would calm down my nerves.

In the first couple of classes, I was soo sleepy!!! Maybe it was a bad idea to stay up most of the night eating pizza and watching movies. But that wasn't the worst of my problems... When I walked out of 3rd period, Cole was waiting for me. He looked sad and concerned but I couldn't read anything past that. I tried to walk away but he laced his fingers through mine and pulled me towards an empty classroom.
"Are you okay?", he asked, "I've been looking for you for a while now. I wanted to ask if you wanted to talk about it?"
I frown and look into his eyes. All I can see is caring, respect, and understanding. When I open my mouth to speak, but suddenly all I can think about is his body and how he's holding me against the wall, so I can't move. I sigh and bite my lip. He's so close to me.
"I get why you hit her. she had no business saying that stuff about you like that." He turns my face so I look at him, tracing his thumb down my cheek, " But you didn't have to leave. I know that you don't know me but I would like to be friends."
I look at him in surprise.
" I am not a people person but you are someone who just gets me you know. I'd like to make this town and school less miserable for you."
I sigh and look away, " I wish it was that easy to fix everything. There is so much more... We can be friends but you have to be patient with me."
Cole smiles and brushes my hair behind my ear, " Come on. Let's go to class before we are late."
