My morning classes were ok. I didn't miss too much even though everyone else is like one month into school. In passing, I saw my brother, Phoenix a few times, the girls from earlier stared me down and the  'locker man' tried to talk to me.

I walked out of my last period before lunch and walked toward my locker. A bundle of blonde hair slams its shoulder into me. I bite my lip and looked at her, "Now now, you can't be upset that he didn't want your thirsty ass."

She rolls her eyes, "And like you have a chance. Honey, if you haven't noticed a man wants a woman, not a freak like you." Her friends burst out laughing. (not like a small normal laugh, but that fake giggling shit)

"See the problem with people like you guys is that you don't understand is just because I save some guy's ass from getting attacked by thirsty she-demons, doesn't mean that I want him. Though it's completely obvious that you repulse him based on the look on his face." I slam my locker shut and walk away.

I have to admit my brother keeps to his word. He made it clear that he was going to make it his mission to respect my boundaries but ensure that I had some type of social life outside of only him and my cat, Tigger. He repeatedly told me on the ride over, that before he graduated I would be more social.

And during lunch, I was going to sit under a tree in the courtyard but he waved me over to sit with his friends.

"Guys, this is my lil sister, Vi-Vi. Vi-Vi says hai to friends."

I smile, "Hai to friends. And my name's Violet."
"Hey, I'm Ryan."
"Haii, I'm Cee-Cee."
"Yo, I'm Mac."

I wave and run my fingers through my hair nervously.

Phoenix put his arm around my shoulder and pushes me down onto the bench in between him and Mac. Phoenix made a point of including me in conversations and ensuring that I had enough to eat. Though he and his friends had just met that day, everyone gave off a vibe of knowing each other much longer. To be completely honest my brother's friends were cool. We had a lot in common and they respected me. They shared food in a potluck style and gave us a rundown of how the school works.

Lunch made me have hope that this school wouldn't completely suck ass. But once I got to my next class I realized how sadly mistaken I was and I swear to Andy Fucking Biersack, I was about to picutahoe!!!
