"I'll prove it then," Jeongin said, making me turn around to face him. "Ok," I said, hoping it wouldn't be good proof. "In this dimension, we are...stronger, faster and smarter than what's your 'normal'. Because it's our 'normal'." Jeongin said with a serious face and tone.
Just another difference between this Jeongin and my Jeongin. Even if we were talking about something, he would always be able to lift the mood with his smile. The only time I saw him cry is once.
"Oh, but you didn't bother to find out what was really wrong with him to be able to stop him from killing himself. THAT'S how good of a friend you were!"
Not a good time stupid voice.
"Look, I know it's sorta... confusing." Jeongin said since I wasn't answering. I nodded. "Show me," I said. Jeongin looked at me with a smile and nodded. I guess I was trying to convince myself that maybe he could solve the equation cuz...I don't know...maybe someone did in fact find a solution for it. Maybe.
But deep down I know it's not true.
Deep down I know Jeongin is right.
Without saying anything, he grabbed my hand and lead me out of the dorm. "W-where are we going!?" I asked. "You'll see," he replied simply. I let him lead me, not even noticing my hand in his.
After we arrived outside to the back of the school, he finally let go of my hand and I finally noticed. I blushed softly.
"Come," he said. I followed him to a medium sized storage room. Is it wrong that I thought he was gonna murder me? At least for a second. I just don't really trust him. Or anyone here for that matter.
I don't trust this 'alternate dimension' shit.
Once we arrived at the storage room, he closed the door behind him, leaving us alone here. But I must admit if i really didn't trust him, i would have never allowed myself to be in such a situation with him. Alone. So maybe I do trust him. A little bit at least.
He walked to the corner of the room where there was a few metal barrels that looked hella heavy. He took them and effortlessly lifted it up a few times. I looked at him in awe. "You try," he said, challenging me. I looked at hm then at the metal barrel. "O-ok," I said, accepting the challenge nervously.
I walked to the barrel and tried picking it up. It was one of the most heaviest things I have ever lifted. I'm surprised Jeongin didn't get Hernia. I lifted it up to my waist barely holding on. It started slipping out of my hand. "J-Jeongin..."I called in barely a whisper. As it was slipping out of my hand, Jeongin grabbed it. In barely a second.
He quickly placed it on the ground as I weakly collapsed on the ground. He knelt beside me, putting his arms over me and holding me close to his chest.
"I'm sorry," he said. I hugged him back.
I regret not trusting him.

"Do you believe me?" I asked after while. We were against the wall in each other's arms. I feel like I've earned his trust...at least I hope so.
"How could I not? You already p-proved it," he said. I could sense a hint of fear in his voice. "Do you want to go home?" I asked. He shrugged. I looked at him curiously.
"I honestly don't care." Seungmin said. "Why?" I asked. "I..." started Seungmin but I interrupted. "You don't have to tell me if you're not comfortable," I reassured. He smiled at me gratefully.
To think he hated me.
I definetly think we're on good terms now.
"Should we get going now?" Seungmin asked. I nodded and helped him up. "Are you ok?" I asked, wrapping an arm around the older.
"I'm fine now. I'm not that weak," he said. I chuckled lightly. "Really!" I said. "That was really heavy though," I reminded. Seungmin let out a sigh, defeated.

As we were walking to our dorm, we bumped (figuratively) into Hyunjin and his boyfriend. "Did you tell him?" Hyunjin asked me. I nodded, glancing at Seungmin. "Tell him what?" Felix asked, clearly confused. "I'll tell you later, Lix." Hyunjin said, ruffling Felix's hair.
We waved good bye to them and continued walking to our dorm. We arrived and no one was there.
"Do you want me to make some dinner?" Seungmin asked. I nodded. "Are you good at cooking?" I asked. Seungmin shrugged. "The only person who tried my food was..." Started seungmin, only to stop mid sentence and look at the floor. "... Jeongin." I whispered, finishing his sentence for him.
He looked up at me. I thought he would be mad at me, but to my surprise, he nodded with a small smile. "Well...then...if you want...I would love to try it!" I anouncent. He smiled widely, and I felt my heart skip a beat. His smile was beautiful (a/n: fuck you haters who said his smile was ugly 🖕🏻🖕🏻🖕🏻🖕🏻🖕🏻).
Seungmin went to cook and I decided to wait by scrolling on my phone.

"JEONGIN!!" he called and I went to the kitchen to find some burnt pasta. It smelled foul. Obviously I didn't tell him that. I just sat down and took a bite. "So...how is it?" He asked anxiously. Honestly, it was one of the worst tings I have ever tried. I quickly swallowed it. "It's amazing," I said, holding back my tears that were practically begging to come out.
Now I know how Jeongin...the other Jeongin must have felt. "Yay! I used to make it for him all the time. I'm so glad you like it," he said.
At first I wanted to tell him the truth about the food, but I didn't want to hurt his feelings.
I don't want to see him cry.
I know it's a small thing and I may be younger then him... but I want to protect him with my useful abilities.
