Special Agent Karan Shergill was in his room, sitting on his chair with his finger constantly tapping his chin and was in a deep dilemma. In the afternoon, the most blissful moment of his life happened as his Bhabhi came and wholeheartedly accepted Monami as Karan's partner, he & Monami got to live one of the very desired moments a couple desires for. Boy's family is accepting the girl, what could be better than this?

But amidst all the happiness, Karan's mind was stuck on that one particular thing. Though Barkha accepted Monami but she also invited her to their home for an important event and that's when it clicked Karan that tomorrow is the day when he lost everything. His bhaiya, his support, his mentor, his everything!

While he was lost in his & Param's beautiful & cherish able memories, Monami tiptoed inside his room and stood behind him, that too without his knowledge. She kept both of her palms on his eyes and a wide smile crept on his face.

Karan - Rani Sahiba...ye pranks mere saath nahi chalte!

Monami (coming forward) - Kya Karan! You're such a spoil sport. Vaise tumhe kaise pata chala main hoon?

Karan (making her sit on his lap) - Aapki ye maddham khusboo hi aapke hone ka ehsaas de deti hai, madam! Vaise aap bataiye..kaise aana hua yaha?

Monami - What do you mean by 'kaise aana hua'? Kal main pehli baar tumhare ghar jaungi, thodi preparations to karni hi padengi na. Achha main kya pehnu kal aur baby ke liye gifts bhi to lene hain. Vaise kal kuchh special hai kya jo bhabhi ne aise invite kiya?

Karan (sadly) - Monami, kal..Param bhaiya ki barsi hai.

Monami's forehead straightened realizing what she said just a couple seconds ago. She could relate to what Karan must be going through. It would be really tough for him to witness all the torturing proceedings in front of his eyes tomorrow and being known to this fact, he's suffering all alone.

Monami - I'm sorry Karan, mujhe nahi pata tha ki kal...

Karan - No Monami, no need to be sorry. Tumhe kaunsa pata tha! Vaise main soch raha tha ki kal main akele hi chala jata hoon. You don't need to be a part of all that stuff.

Monami - Kyu? Tum akele kyu jaoge?! Main chalungi!

Karan sighed in disbelief on his adamant Rani Sahiba and cupped her cheeks between his palms.

Karan - Monami, har ladki ka sapna hota hai apne sasural mein dhoom-dhaam se pehla kadam lene ka. Na ki ye ki vo kisi ki barsi ke din apne hone wale sasural mein pehli baar kadam rakhe. My Rani Sahiba deserves all that special treatment!

A small smile formed on Monami's face as Karan's words reflected how much he cares for her and want her to feel and live every moment specially. 

Monami - Do baatein!

Karan chuckled and raised his fingers, making her smirk seeing her effect on him.

Monami - Pehli, bhaiya, bhabhi aur baby sirf tumhare hi nahi hain. Mere bhi hain, vo parivaar hain mera! So, being with them in hard times is my duty and responsibility. Tum koi nahi hote ho Dr. Monami Mahajan ko unki 'Bahu duties' puri karne se rokne wale.

Karan (teasingly) - Ohhh...Bahu!

Monami (controlling her smile) - Shh..let me complete! Haan dusri baat, (Karan raised his second finger) Main tumhari life ke har phase mein tumhare saath hoon! Chahe sukh ho ya dukh...Monami humesha apne Karan ke saath hai! You love me Karan & now I'm your partner in all your ups and downs. Abse tumhe akele koi dukh jhelne ki zaroorat nahi hai. I'm always there with you!
