Cabin Fever

AN: Not only do I have another chapter for you all but I also have new; I'm finally having my first year in college. I also want all of you to know that the events of Transformers: Robots in Disguise did not, repeat, NOT happen in this story. Optimus Prime is still dead. Enjoy. PS: I finally watched Transformers: Rise of the Beasts.

"Why am I wearing this?" Shockwave questioned as J tightened the scarf around his neck.

"Like Uzi said, she asked her teacher to go to that forest alone but her teacher is sending the rest of her classmates because he's mad at their test scores so WE are going to keep occupied by supervising them while Uzi goes and tries to learn more about the Solver and how her mother is connected to it." J explained as she finished Shockwave's scarf.

"That I'm already aware of but why must I wear this?" the scientist asked again, gesturing to the camping cloths he's currently wearing that were similar to the cloths she's wearing now, minus the hat.

"Me, V and N are wearing these camping outfits so why not put it on as well?"

"I find wearing these cloths to be very illogical."

"And wearing that tux and going Dapper Shock wasn't?"

Shockwave points a clawed digit at her to protest but he quickly stopped, realizing she had a point.

"touché."

A smug grin then formed on the female murder drone's face.

"Still, I'm a scientist, not a babysitter; I do not have time to watch over worker drones who are not as intelligent or strong willed as Uzi is. Keeping watch over them would be a waste of my time." Shockwave said, causing J to roll her eyes.

"Could you at least do it for Uzi? For me?" she offered, placing a hand on Shockwave's shoulder. He looks towards her with a small cute smile. By Primus, how could he say no to that?

"Fine, I'll do it but only for you and Uzi." he replied, receiving a nod and smile from J.

"Well what are we waiting for, N and V are already going on ahead. Let's go." she declared before sprouting her wings and left Shockwave's laboratory.

"I still can't believe I'm doing this." he groaned before he sprouted his wings and followed J towards the campsite where, Uzi, N and V should be. It was quite the long flight to say the least and they haven't made it to their destination yet. In order to pass the time, J flew close to Shockwave and asked.

"Hey, Shockwave, I know you were a mad, evil scientist during the war for Cybertron but I'm actually curious." J started, prompting Shockwave to turn his helm to her.

"About what, exactly?"

"About who you were before the war. Before you became so feared. What was your life like before it all?"

Shockwave's antenna twitched in surprise; no one has actually asked him that before, be they Decepticon or Autobot. No one has ever thought about his past life, the life he had before he joined Megatron, the life he had before the war, the life he had before he became the greatest Decepticon scientist who ever lived. J was the first ever individual who asked who he used to be.

"You don't have to answer, I was just curious, that's all." J told him, giving that Shockwave hasn't responded yet so she assumed that he didn't want to answer.

"No, it's fine, J. It's just that no one has asked that question before." the scientist explained before speaking.

"I did indeed had a life before the great war. Before I became the feared Decepticon scientist, I was merely a senator."
