(AN: Hello everyone, after watching playthroughs of Poppy Playtime chapter 3, I have been inspired to make VHS chapters of Scorn who debuted in the "Dead End" chapter of "Of Drones and Logic" to provide you some lore of our favourite revenge driven Sentinel since the season finale of Murder Drones is not that far away now. Until then, enjoy the VHS chapters.)
The sound of a VHS tape being inserted was heard before we see the screen flashed to reveal a man in a lab coat, the same man we saw in the VHS tape from the "Dead End" chapter.
"This is Dr Ethan Saldon and this tape is log number 5. In relation: SC-87, the final product of Project Scorn."
The man, Dr Saldon, grabs a clipboard with papers that was sitting on his desk.
"SC-87's creation, obviously, was a success unlike most of the Project Scorn Sentinels that came before it, both here and the other Cabin Fever laboratories we have stationed here on Copper-9. Though it shares the basic programming to bootloop and/or dispose of our Absolute Solver worker drone test subjects and in case they step put of line with its original raptor-like counterparts, SC-87 is engineered to wield a strong and durable body, not unlike the species of dinosaur it was modelled after."
Dr Saldon flips a paper over the clipboard in his hand before reading the next paper underneath.
"However, while our Sentinels function off of oil inside them like worker and disassembly drones do, SC-87 relies on the blue liquid we found inside the giant robot the labour worker drones dug up from one of our excavation sites."
DR Saldon reaches down to one of the desks drawers and brings a glowing blue crystal shard into view.
"We also discovered that the unusual blue crystals found near the giant robot can be refined into liquid and, according to our experts, the chemical makeup of the refined crystals are identical to the liquid found inside the giant robot. We found out about this when we tried infusing different kinds of liquid we use for fuel since SC-87's body seems to reject the oil inside it."
Dr Saldon then places the blue shard on the desk.
"In a way, its similar to disassembly drones and their frequant need to ingest worker drone oil to prevent overheating; SC-87 is the disassembler and the blue crystals are its needed worker drone oil. We have decided to name these crystals "starelliam". SC-87 relies on the starelliam in order to keep its body functional and we, with plans of producing a more Project Scorn Sentinels, will need to seek out and excavate more starelliam crystals because the Sentinel currently among us is nothing but the first of a first wave of upgraded robot dinosaur watchdogs."
Dr Saldon flips the second paper to the third.
"But first, we need to see how the original Sentinels will bahave around SC-87; while Sentinels are robots, they are programmed with animalistic behaviour so we have no idea how they will respond to a Sentinel that's different to them. We will just have to introduce SC-87 in the morning to find out. End of log."
Dr Saldon reaches for the camera before the video log ends.
