The sound of a VHS tape being inserted was heard before we see the screen flashed to reveal Dr Ethan Saldon.

"Log number 11. In relation: SC-87, the final product of Project Scorn. The Sentinels are getting more and more comfortable around SC-87 after being wary of it at first. Seems they accepted SC-87 into their group, their "pack" so to speak. SC-87 itself, however, isn't settling in to its new surroundings very well at first."

"In fact, for the first few days since its introduction, SC-87 would mostly try to avoid the Sentinels and test subjects. Whether it was under a table, above the lockers or even in the vents, whatever had a shadow, SC-87 would flee to it the first chance it gets. It's clear that SC-87 doesn't like confrontation with any other artificial beings, be they Sentinel or worker."

"JcJenson's new CEO, Porter C. Powell, who is currently on Silver-5, was not very happy with this news. Porter wanted us to create the perfect watchdogs for our Absolute Solver research. From what I hear, Powell wants us to understand the Absolute Solver by any means necessary, why? I don't know."

Dr Saldon then lets out a frustrated sigh.

"It's bad enough he hired that nutcase, Henry Masterson or 'HeadMaster', as some people call him, for weapons production, he also seems fixated on the program that destroyed Earth, obsessed even."

"I know Powell wants to put our arch-rival company, Sumdac Systems, founded by Isaac Sumdac, out of business but trying to figure out the origin of something that literally DESTROYED our home world by giving it to worker drones is just downright risky."

Dr Saldon lets out another sigh.

"But, despite my concerns, I am positioned to monitor SC-87, not the Absolute Solver. I just hope they now what they're doing."

Dr Saldon grabs a paper and brings it up in front of him.

"Back on topic, we have yet to figure out how to boost SC-87's social self esteem which, being a robot programmed with animalistic behaviour, could prove to be a challenge."

Dr Saldon simply chuckles to himself.

"Guess everyone needs a challenge every once and a while. Regardless, I'll see what I can do. End of log."

Dr Saldon reaches for the camera before the video log ends.
