N O B O D Y

After the front door slammed shut, Hyunjin shed the first tears. He doesn't know how to face Minho now that he knows he's in love with the older one. How should he now behave towards the elder without hurting his own and Minho's feelings? Far too many thoughts shot into his head that he didn't know what to think of first. He sobbed nonstop until he ran into his and Minho's bedroom and threw himself face first on the bed. He cried for hours until he became so exhausted that he fell asleep.

Minho came home from work and was surprised when Hyunjin didn't come running to greet him like he usually did. He put his backpack on the floor, took off his shoes and jacket and walked into the kitchen first, but when he didn't find Hyunjin there, he walked into the living room, maybe he fell asleep. But when he got to the living room and Hyunjin wasn't there either, he got worried. "Hyunie?" he called, but got no answer. "Baby, where are you?" Nothing.

He sighed and waddled into the bedroom, opening the door to find the person he was looking for sleeping. He smiled softly and covered the boy with another blanket, changed his clothes quietly and then quietly left the room to go to the kitchen and cook the food. Minho thought nothing of the younger one sleeping, neither did he know that Innie and Lixie were there. He just assumed that Hyunjin was tired or something and fell asleep because of that. With still the same gentle smile on his face, he now stood in the kitchen and cooked dinner for the two of them.

In the meantime Hyunjin woke up again and countless tears ran down his cheeks, he cried again until the door opened. He immediately fell silent and closed his eyes, but the tears didn't stop. Minho, who wanted to wake up Hyunjin to eat something, was immediately alarmed when he saw the tears that kept falling from Hyunjin's eyes. "Angel.. wake up.. hey hey shhh.. calm down... calm down.." he said as the younger one opened his eyes.

The younger one looked at the older one with tears streaming down his face and sobbed unintelligible things to himself. Minho looked at him worried and tried to calm him down, but it didn't seem to help. He cried and cried and cried. He sat on the bed with the younger boy for full two hours and let him cry. After he cried, Minho wiped his tears away and just looked into his eyes.

"Are you hungry? I cooked.." He said and looked at the boy in front of him, Hyunjin nodded and so Minho carried him down to the kitchen, sat him on one of the chairs and warmed up the food again in the microwave. When that was done, he sat down next to him and they ate in silence.. well, here and there you could hear Hyunjin sniffling, but otherwise there was silence between the two.

Just as Minho was about to say something, Hyunjin got up and literally ran to his own room, which he rarely uses since he mostly sleeps with Minho. He crawled into his closet and cried silently again. Minho cleaned up the kitchen and then walked upstairs to talk to the boy, but first he had to find him. He's not angry, annoyed or anything else, he's more concerned about his baby because he'd never cried as much as he does today. He searched room by room until he came to Hyunjin's own room, he walked into the room and said nothing. Hyunjin sniffled, so Minho knew where he was and slowly walked towards the closet. He opened the door and met again the tear-stained face of his sunshine.

He lifted him out of the closet, walked out of the room and downstairs into the living room. There he sat down with the boy on his lap and just held him tight. He didn't say anything, just held him tight. Hyunjin melted into Minho's arms and sobbed to himself again. "Shhh... shhh... it's okay... calm down... calm down and then you can tell me, okay?.." A nod from the boy was enough for him and so his first mission was to calm him down. When that was done, he wiped the tears from his face again and smiled gently at him. "Better?" He asked and again Hyunjin nodded.
