Harry was well aware of the mask Tom was wearing, both in front of the others and himself.

With his years of experience, he just needs a glance.

Although, Tom does indeed regret the needless killing, it doesn't change the fact that he liked it.

'His hands must be itching to torture something. After all, Tom was already into the dark arts before he split his soul'

Harry thought as he made his way up.

When Ginny appeared an hour later, the professors were relieved even more so when the absence of a certain fool was noticed.

Everyone was already getting tired of him, even his girl fans quickly calm down when disaster upon disaster that his lessons were made them realized the lies being spilled.

But, there's always the exception to the rule and that was Hermione who became even more isolated in her on own house.

Not that Harry cared, he was worrying over what to offer Tom as a Yule gift to pay attention to the rumors going around.

With the winter break coming closer and the weather getting colder, Hogwarts seemed to already be on Christmas' spirit as the typical songs and traditions were up and running since the end of november.

Harry was thinking of inviting Tom to pass the break with him but he was a bit afraid of being refused so he postponed asking him again and again that when he finally had the courage to bring up the topic it was only three days before it.

It happened sometime before dinner as the two of them were spending this time on the library with a pile of books beside them.

"Tom" Harry called with a calm tone, his eyes never straying from the rows of letters.

The other hummed in respond, allowing Harry to know that he was heard.

"Where are you planning to pass the winter break?" asked casually.

"With the Malfoy's" Tom replied briefly "Draco invited me to their Yule Ball" he added.

'Is he on first name basis with Malfoy? Is something going on between them?' the rage and jelousy that passed through him at the thought, scared him because he almost lost the tight control he has over his magic.

"Oh, really?" Harry asked seemly interested as he skilfully buried his emotions.

"Yes, Draco wants me to meet his parents" Tom said his eyes never leaving the book "He thinks me and his father can have quite the chat" he added glancing up from his reading to the man seating in front of him.

Harry obviously got the hint and he was both relived and anxious, the first because he didn't went there to see the youngest blond and the last because he will spend a while two weeks there and who knows, things could change in that time frame.

"I too was invited, do you think we can go together?" Harry commented.

"You were invited?" Tom asked raising a brow as he look over.

"Yes, the pure-blood families keep tabs on one another, even the ones whose bloodline had disappeared. So when the Peverell family appear with an heir, they wasted no time inviting me over" he explained, the heirship ring becoming visible for a few seconds, enough for Tom to notice it.

"Are you going as yourself?" Tom asked, crossing his legs and letting the opened book rest on his knee.

"Don't know, i still didn't thought about it" in true he wasn't even planning going, but Tom was, so he has to be there to make sure no one plans to steal what's his "That aside, are you sure you want to spend your birthday at Malfoy's?" Harry finally asked what he has been dying to ask.

He can't allow someone else to see his mate first after he went through his inheritance, he wants to be first to do so.

Tom easily got the hint along with some kind of jelousy? Maybe, he wasn't sure, but he sure was about the fact that Harry didn't like the idea of him spending his break with the Malfoys, or, maybe, more specifically, Draco.

Tom narrowed his eyes slightly, a small and playful smirk slowly forming on his lips.

"I don't know, who knows, maybe Lady Magic made Draco my mate" Tom said with a shrug.

Harry did everything in his power to not order Death claim the brats life, he took a long and deep breath discretely and refocused on the book.

Despiste calming down, it did nothing to his bad mood that Tom clearly felt.

The brown haired boy, stayed in an awakard silence with disconfort, Harry's reaction was not what he was expecting.

'What was i expecting in the first place?' Tom asked, the slightly disappointment in his heart betrayed his calm face.

In the end, Harry didn't invite Tom over and didn't see him during the break until the Ball.

He made himself busy during those days, not giving his mind a chance to wonder to his mate and how he must be having fun with Malfoy.

With the giant ward around on the planet done with and already working, Harry shift his attention to other things, such as fullfiling his duties as the Master of Death, planning for the future and building things.

All in all, when Harry came back to himself, it was the day of the Ball and he was standing in front of a full lengh mirrow with three of his elves around him and getting dress.

Dressed with a suit made with the finest materials an ordinary wizard could only dream about, Harry looked quite handsome.

With the use of an aging potion, which instead of the usual three months it takes to make, took six days to bew, Harry was now 1.86 m tall, with a lean but musculed physical, evident by the tight suit that hug him on all right places.

He also changed his facial structure a bit, making him unrecognizable as Harry Potter, his black hair was painted a dark brown, resembling dark chocolate, his green eyes were changed to a sky blue, setting him apart from his well known appearance.

Harry passed a hand through his hair, styling it backwards as he gaze himself in the mirrow.

"Master Harry looks handsome, Master Harry will sure find a suitable Lady for himself" one the the elves praised excitedly.

"Lord" Harry corrected automatically, his mind busy imagining how his future mate would look like at the party "It's a Lord who I'll find"
