That night while Percy slept, Ana slept in her room in the Hermes cabin and almost as soon as she fell asleep she was in a dreamscape. She looked around and gasped as suddenly a yellow-golden castle appeared. Someone walked to the front door and spoke "hello sunshine."

Ana gasped as he came into focus. She recognized him almost immediately "Apollo," she whispered. He looked hot as all heck as Ana studied him. He smirked watching her eyes move over him and couldn't help but to look over her as well. Ana blushed as she studied the blonde male. She swallowed and spoke again "isn't this against the law?"

Apollo nodded "yes, but your father taught me how to do this and I couldn't wait to talk to you."

"Why are you doing this now," Ana asked making Apollo chuckle.

"I'm meeting you now because I wanted to explain some things to you." Ana indicated for the God of the Sun to continue talking. "I'm your soulmate as you know, but you don't know what that all entails." He looked at her making sure she was listening. "I get kind of obsessive and overly protective when it comes to love."

"Let me stop you there," Ana spoke seriously. She sighed and walked closer to the god before reaching out to take his hand. "As long as you don't push me into something that I'm not ready for or hurt me then I'm happy to be your soulmate."

Apollo let out a breath he hadn't realized he'd been holding as they smiled at each other. Apollo looked at her "I want to go talk to my kids but I don't want to leave you."

Ana laughed "go and see your kids. I'll be here anytime you want to talk." And with that, both Ana and Apollo disappeared.

Walking with the new kid and Chiron around the camp, Ana couldn't help but drift off and remember her dream from last night. It was the first night that she had met Apollo and so far he seemed normal and like a perfect fit for her. She also couldn't take away from the fact that he was hot which made it all the better. He made her feel good, you know like she wasn't too scary being the daughter of Phanes which even with the others wasn't like that.

One thing Ana was nervous about was the fact that he was immortal and she was not. She didn't want to feel like a burden for him as she had no clue if she was going to become immortal or when. She was more worried because she didn't want to hurt Apollo as she knew that all of his relationships ended badly so she didn't want to cause him more pain by watching her death.

They passed the volleyball pit. Several of the campers nudged each other. One pointed to the minotaur horn Percy was carrying. Another said, "That's him." Most of the campers were older than us. Their satyr friends were bigger than Grover, all of them trotting around in orange CAMP HALF-BLOOD T-shirts, with nothing else to cover their bare shaggy hindquarters.

Percy and Ana looked back at the farmhouse. It was a lot bigger than they'd realized—four stories tall, sky blue with white trim, like an upscale seaside resort. Ana was checking out the brass eagle weather vane on top when something caught her eye, a shadow in the uppermost window of the attic roof. Something had moved the curtain, just for a second, and she got the distinct impression we were being watched.

"What's up there?" Percy asked Chiron.

He looked where Percy was pointing, and his smile faded. "Just the attic."

"Somebody lives there?"

"No," he said with finality. "Not a single living thing."

Ana knew that he was being truthful. But she also knew that something had moved that curtain. "Come along, Percy, Ana," Chiron said, his lighthearted tone now a little forced. "Lots to see." They walked through the strawberry fields, where campers picked bushels of berries while a satyr played a tune on a reed pipe. Chiron told them the camp grew a nice crop for export to New York restaurants and Mount Olympus. "It pays our expenses," he explained. "And the strawberries take almost no effort." He said Mr. D had this effect on fruit-bearing plants: they just went crazy when he was around. It worked best with wine grapes, but Mr. D was restricted from growing those, so they grew strawberries instead.
