Everything had been going so well since you, Ariel, and Eric decided to pursue a relationship between you three, it was the happiest you've been in a while but should've known that it wouldn't last. You three had decided to announce to everyone the wonderful news about you three, and so far everyone was happy for you three and loved you guys and didn't care that it was a poly relationship almost everyone that was...
You had been walking around talking with everyone with your two lovers until you needed to step outside and get some fresh air due to all the people. You had been standing outside trying to calm down when you heard some of the maids talking.
"I can't believe that the prince and princess would engage in with a throuple with a commoner." One of them said.
"Yeah I mean a throuple isn't right. There's no way that they could love her and each other." Another said as tears fell down your face.
You ran to the beach in tears and then swam away as fast as you could, you should've known that getting into a relationship with Eric and Ariel. You seaman as fast and far as you but the tears in your eyes made it hard to do so you found a place where you could rest for the night.
"Eric, where is she?" Ariel asked worried.
"I don't know it's not like her to up and leave." He said running a hand through his curls.
"Your grace, a villager came forth and said they last miss y/n leaving the party in tears and heading towards the beach." Grimsby said.
"Oh no." Ariel said as her and Eric raced towards the beach.
They reached the beach where they saw the dress you had been wearing laying on the beach making them look at each other in realization. Ariel picked up a shell and blew into it hoping her father or one of her friends would hear it so that they could have some help finding you.
"Ariel my dear, what is it?" Her father asked.
"Dad it's y/n, she took off into the sea and now we can't find her. Do you think you could help find her?" She asked him.
"The hybrid right?" He asked as her and Eric nodded their heads at him.
"I will get search parties started right away, we will find her my dear." He said to her as she thanked him.
It was almost three days later before you would be found by Sebastian and Flounder, who had found you laying against a rock crying. They swam up to you, which made you turn and look at them in shock.
"Flounder? Sebastian? What are you doing here?" You asked them.
"Everyone has been looking around you, Ariel and Eric are so worried about you." Flounder said.
"Why would they be worried about me? I heard what the maids thought, a throuple would never work in the royal kingdom." You said making them frown.
"That's not true. They love you so much, they have constantly been in and on the water looking for you, they think that you ran off because you don't want to be with them." Sebastian said.
"That's not true. I ran off because I didn't want them to feel embarrassed to be seen with a common or get hate from their people because they choose to be with you." You said sadly.
"Please come back with us, so that you and the couple can talk this out because they are worried sick about you." Flounder said.
You sighed and thought about what they said and decided to swim back to the castle with them, it took nearly two days for you guys to get back. Ariel and Eric had been down at the shore when they saw your head of hair making them sit up immediately as you swam closer.
"Thank you guys." You said to Flounder and Sebastian.
Once you were on land, Ariel and Eric ran over to you and wrapped their arms around you, softly crying and grateful that you were alive and back in their arms and you had to admit it felt nice being back with them.
"Why did you leave y/n?" They asked you.
"Because I overheard some comments about how you two shouldn't be with a commoner or in a throuple. I didn't want to embarrass you guys." You said playing with your hands.
"Who told you that y/n?" They asked.
"It doesn't matter, they were right." You said as they shook their heads no at you.
"It does matter, because they hurt you y/n, we aren't embarrassing you because of your status and we all made the mutual decision to pursue a poly relationship. We love you so much y/n and we were so worried when we found that you ran off." Eric said to you.
"You were?" You asked shocked.
"We were every day and every night we searched for you, i even had my father and sisters looking for you as well. y/n we love you so much, please don't give up on us yet." Ariel said to you.
"I won't, I missed you guys alot." You said making them smile.
You three smiled and shared a kiss as you walked back to the castle where you told them where you heard the comments from. The maids who said those were fired for their actions and you three were back to being happy and in love with one another.
