You loved all animals and weren't afraid of them until a dog bitten you when you were a child, you had come ashore one day and saw the dog. You had walked over and briefly put your hand towards its head to give it some rubs when it bit you making you cry out and ever since then you've been afraid of any type of dog.
You and your two lovers had been out walking around when Max came running up to you making a shriek and back away from him. Your two lovers were loving on Max when they noticed you weren't there, they looked up and saw you about half a mile down the beach.
"Y/n, come here, he just wants love." Ariel said.
"I'm good, you guys give him all the love you want." You said as they looked at each other.
They both shared a look not sure why you were acting like this but shook it off as Max went off to find Grimsby. The next time it happened you had been in your room getting ready when he came in excitedly jumping on you making you scared you screamed jumping onto the dresser as Eric and Ariel came running in worried about you.
"Get it out!" You said through tears as your lovers looked at you confused.
Ariel walked Max out of the room and went to go grab you some water while Eric gently scooped you in his arms and carried you over to the bed. He gently rocked in his arms rubbing his hand up and down your back worried about you, Ariel returned with a glass of water and handed it to you with a small smile.
"Y/n, my love can you tell us why you are afraid of Max?" Ariel asked gently.
"I never used to be afraid of dogs until I got bit by one." You said as realization hit your lovers.
"You were bit by one?" They asked.
"I was. It was probably the first time I came ashore here, I had seen this dog so I had walked over and went to pet it and when I went to pet it, it bit me hard and since then I have this scar and have been afraid of them." You said showing them the scar on your wrist.
"Oh y/n, we had no idea, I'm so sorry." They said squeezing your hand.
"You know Max isn't like that? He's actually a big cuddly bear." Eric said looking at you.
"Can we try to introduce him to you?" Ariel asked you as you nodded your head.
Ariel sat with you rubbing a hand up and down your arm helping to keep you calm while Eric walked in with Max. He kneeled before you and held Max in his arms as Max smothered him with his kisses.
"Ready we are just going to gently touch him for now but if it becomes too much just let us know, okay?" She asked grabbing your hand as you nodded your head.
She took your hand with hers and brought it to Max's fur and gently ran along it, which made you smile at how soft it was. You slowly let go of her hand and started petting him on your own which he seemed to love as your lovers smiled at you.
"How was that baby?" Eric asked you as Max ran off.
"Not as bad as I thought it was going to be, he's so fluffy." You said with a smile.
Slowly every day they would work with you to introduce you to Max until one day you felt comfortable enough to find Max on your own. He had followed you into your room, so you invited him up on your bed where he smothered you with kisses and cuddled with him. Your lovers could hear your giggles and were curious about what you were giggling at, and peeked their heads in the room where they saw you playing with Max making them smile.
