Karl was taking a latenight stroll, the soft dewy snowflakes gracefully fell around around him as his feet pushed down the previously fallen snow he now walked on with a crunch. Suddenly, he heared a shout- it sounded, aggressive. Curiosity consumed Karl as he began a path twords the noise- only to find a small child trapped inside of the small town's only church! She was pounding on the glass, angrly shouting at someone outside, it couldent be him, he had just arrived and the screams he heard had occurred far before he came into range.
GC screeched from inside the church, angry tears pouring from her eyes like the snow poured from the sky as she pounded on the glass at Robin, of whom was consuming a plump sandwich right befor her very eyes, knowing the only thing she had eaten in the past 5 days was a slice of blessed bread she found in the church's cabinet. When she had found the bread it was covered in a film of green and grey mold; however, desperate people do desperate things, and she soon found herself scarffing down the old bread like a starved dog placed infront of a fresh bowl of kibble.
Karl ran twords the child with haste, not seeing the man who had walked to the other side of the church just moments befor. He signaled for the child to stand back as he grabbed a near by garbadge bin. He then proceeded to throw the bin at the stained glass of the church, shattering it into pieces of all hues and in turn setting the child free. As soon as he did so he was instantly embraced in a hug- he wassent horribly ecstatic about hugs; however, this time would be his rare exception- despite how digestingly grimy the child was.
"Hey kiddo, you alright? Why are you in there?" He asked without a response because as soon as the child had hugged him she had then jumped infront of him in a- protective manner? What was going on? It was then he saw a man's figure, standing beneath the glorified light of the moon- snowflakes fell upon him as he gazed down at the child furiously, he didnet seem to notice Karl though. However, perhaps that was a good thing. He looked rather odd with a bulky belt that held various items and a hat constructed of a dense material- odd indeed. It was then that the man spoke.
"What the hell do you think your doing? How'd you get out of there!" Robin snarled at GC, only to realise a random inhabitant of the town had freed her, he rolled his eyes and pulled out a screwdriver- preparing to fight when the little twerp ran up to him and kicked him whilst he was off-guard. He stumbled back abit in a light daze befor snapping out of it and proceeding to unleash a counter-attack upon his opponent.
"Hey! That actually kinda hurt." He shouted as he wrapped GC's long black hair around his hand, pulling her twords himself and shoving his screwdriver into the depths of her lower back- ripping it out as he pushed her away, letting her fall into the cold coffin that was the freshly fallen snow.
GC laid in the snow, turning it's pristine, innocent white to a dark, unforgiving red. It was then Karl realised what was happening. This man was holding her hostage! He quickly grabbed the child, resting her on a nearby wall as he prepared to fight the man seemingly out to kidnap her.
"I won't let you take this child, you won't hurt her any further. " he said with a heroic confidence in his voice. However, in reality he was quite shaken- he had never really fought befor and this man looked tall and strong. It was safe to say, Karl was royaly screwed.
