Maya Mel Ziegler born 30 September 2002, has been dancing with Abby since she was four years old and her and her twin sister Maddie always fights for number 1 girl.

Today's the first day of competition season and I'm so excited!!
But this year it's going to be different as we are going to be on a new reality tv show staring us called 'dance moms' there's going to be a lot of people filming and hopefully watching, I hope I don't say anything weird!
"Girls let's go where gonna be late!" My mom shouts for us
"coming!" I say
"have you got all your things in your dance bag?" My mom asks me and my sisters
"yep I got my tap shoes,leotard,jazz shoes and everything else" I reply
"same" Maddie says
"Okay girls let's go!" Where in the car on the way to the studio
"who do you think is going to be at the top of the pyramid?" Maddie asks
"I don't know me or you probably " I reply "maybe" maddie says
We rush into the studio "hellooo!" Miss Abby says to us
"hi ab" my mom says
"hi miss Abby" me and Maddie say, Mackenzie doesn't say anything I think she's a bit nervous.
There's cameras everywhere and I'm so nervous,we all walk into studio A for pyramid and I sit in the middle of maddie and Chloe
*PYRAMID*
"okay girls it's day of rehearsal for the new competition season." Miss Abby starts
"ladies you all know why your here, you're the cream of the crop in your age group and I have lots of new ideas in store. I'm going to do something that no other studio the country does Every single competition we are doing a new routine!"
I turn to maddie then look at my mom
"uh uh uh uh, girls don't look at your mothers, I am the coach I am the teacher, I can make you or I can break you, yes?"
Christi rolls her eyes and I try not to laugh
Miss Abby turns the chalkboard and reveals the pyramid

The moms don't look to happy about it but I try not to think about that.
"Everybody wants to be at the top of course, but you have to work for it!" Miss Abby says
"Everybody wants to be front and centre, I hear it all the time." She adds
"Whoever is in the front and centre can't make a mistake, your holding that whole group together!So at the top right here I have maya because she is dedicated and because of her stellar record last year." Miss Abby says, I smile.
"Maya are you ready to be front and centre? Can you handle that pressure?"
I nod and smile
"Our first competition is going to be in Phoenix Arizona, ladies I chose Phoenix Arizona because I want you to experiences one of the best competition teams in the country. we are going to do new numbers, a high energy cute adorable routine with maya,maddie,Chloe,Paige,Brooke and nia, then we have a trio with Maddie,Chloe and Paige. And lastly we have maya doing a solo." Miss Abby explains
